  1. You are incorrect. The company would be liable to pay you severance pay even if a company director subsequently hired you to work on a freelance basis.
  2. The certificate from the doctor is all they need.
  3. Unfortunately, if you raise energy costs for manufacturing businesses 21 per cent then the cost of goods produced will impact the cost of living. The same situation in many countries though.
  4. Exactly what @Sheryl said earlier in the topic here: https://aseannow.com/topic/1280474-if-wife-dies-before-me/?do=findComment&comment=17784000

  6. Quite a few people go here for a bite to eat. Here is the latest price list. I do like the chef's salad.
  7. The company can undertake any activities specified in its memorandum of association. The standard MOA used by Thai companies covers just about everything a company can do in general, so you should be fine for additional business activity.
  8. Moved to Forum Support.

  10. Here is another member's experience in Pattaya:
  11. You will be getting off at ARL station Makkasan and walking to MRT station Phetchaburi. The stations do not share the same name. MRT busy times are in line with what you said above. MRT trains are frequent, so if one is absolutely packed and you have bags then perhaps just wait 3-4 minutes for the next train.
  12. Just to make it really clear, you previously had to descend to street level and walk to the MRT as there was no physical connection linking the two stations. This has changed. Several years ago a direct covered link bridge/walkway was added to connect both stations. If you are unsure of the route just follow everyone else, as most people take this route to get to the MRT.
  13. A colleague applied for a standard visa. They attended their biometric appointment at VFS on 28 October. Received notification to collect their passport on 28 November.
  14. It would certainly broaden the OP's appeal though.
  15. Do you speak, read or write Thai?
  16. Strictly, the title deed of a condominium unit is an Or Chor 2 อ.ช.2, and not a Nor Sor 4 Jor น.ส.4 จ - however both are commonly called a chanote, which is phrase used by the OP. I completely accept where you are coming from, however the reason we are having this discussion is because non-Thai citizens can be listed on a condominium title deed and getting back to the OP, if the title deed that was lost belonged to a non-Thai citizen then they would have to take their passport along to the Land Office. If you ask non-Thai condominium owners what the name of their condominium property deed is I think the vast majority would answer, "Chanote" and very few indeed would answer, "Or Chor Song".
  17. I guess it's a different way of life. If you stay in Pattaya/Jomtien the air quality is going to be quite reasonable most of the time. If you stay in Bangkok the air quality next to main roads is dreadful and it's something to avoid. I'm just in the habit of avoiding it where possible. That being said you don't have to walk in a straight line along Rama I. You could walk through Siam Square or alternatively enter Siam Paragon, connect through Siam World, then get on the skywalk.
  18. Laziness, the same way that most peorple don't get off their transport one stop early and walk. Health, I try not to walk by any main road in Bangkok if I can. It's just not pleasant at all.
  19. Non Thai citizens can be registered on the chanote title deed of a condominium unit.
