    It must vary a lot then. I did my annual extension a couple of weeks ago. No queue at all, got to the retirement desk and was out again within 15 minutes. I just walked in the exit doot to pick up my passport the next day.

    The TM7 form does have a line that says "I wish to apply for an extension for ............... days". Which seems to imply that you can put in any number of days.

    Is there traffic at 4am? I live on the route but have never seen it. They are finished before anyone wakes up.

    In the UK newspaper the Daily Mail today they are warning of the new most infectious variant BA.2.75 called "centaurus" ha ha. We are doomed.

    Isn't Vietnam impossible to stay in now for long periods (no good for expats), and Spain maximum 90 days.

    Your bank opens at 8.30 am wow. I use Krungsri as well. I just copy the pages of my bankbook for the year to show always over 800k. Then update on the day i go to immigration and Krungsri gives me a letter confirming the balance in 20 minutes. Usually only takes 1-1.5 hours in total, cost 2,000 baht.

    They are really good but only seem to open late in the afternoon.

    Would anyone take 6000 from a lost purse and hand in the remaining 1000? Impossible. Any thief would just take the 7,000. The Police are obviously in on it.

    Not really an issue yet but wait until they start disposing of billions of used battery packs filled with toxic metals.

    Happened to me. I was waiting at a zebra and finally 2 cars stopped to let me cross. I was half way across when a motorcycle came speeding in between the 2 cars and missed me by inches. I NEVER use zebra crossings now.
