  1. Just like influenza we will be living with it for the rest of our lives. Eventually it will become just part of the norm, like Flu, and not be thought about much. Influenza kills around 500,000 people a year and no one gives it a thought really. Just like influenza vaccines the covid vaccine will probobly become a mixture of 3 or 4 strains thought to be most prevalant at the time.
  2. In the original article he said he was coming back as soon as they dropped Thailand Pass.
  3. The most my wife has won on the Thai lottery on one draw is 80,000. Four tickets 20,000 each. Apr-Jun she won about 40,000 over 3 draws. Playing numbers from our dog's birthday that had died Apr 1st. She is 100% convinced our dead dog was influencing the lottery draws for us. The first draw was her year, second draw her month, and 3rd draw her day but backwards 02 instead of 20. But she had played 20 on the undergound lottery with both combinations and won over 14,000 on that draw.
  4. Because Thai's love more ice than beer in their glass.
  5. Maybe you should have asked how many are on retirement visas here. That eliminates anyone below 50 years old.
  6. You could say the same thing about any country.
  7. Now you just need to develop a spray that can be used in the nose, mouth and eyes. There are some nasal powders already available for sale that are supposed to help trap viruses in the nostrils. Such as this one: Taffix Taffix Nasal Spray | Protection and Preventing from Viruses (taffixprotect.com)
  8. I guess the question is how does this compare to previous years.
  9. It's probably legal since you see videos with police quite often. But they just passed that new law where you could be charged if you post a video online of a crime. You're supposed to give it to the police.
  10. I think they see it as doing it for your benefit. To help keep rocks and such from hitting the cars behind them.
  11. It was about 15 years ago but my mother-in-law had no problem getting a tourist visa to the US. I don't think they look at the elderly as a big risk. Our neice on the other hand was turned down for one several times and finally gave up. Once the tourist visa is issued it can be used for 10 years. But don't overstay an entry.
  12. You could go to immigration now and try to get your extension based on having the 800K in the bank. You only need for 2 months prior, then 3 months after. If they have a problem with you doing it that way then you probably need to get an agent again for this extension. Then make sure everything is correct for next year. That's why I say go now to give yourself time if they deny it. Also the rest of the year you need to keep at least 400K in the bank. I have never used an agent. So I don't have any experience with that. There most likely will be others with more experience than me reguarding that.
  13. He should have been required to replace the tires plus a fine. Oh wait. The original artlcle says he agreed to fix the tires plus the fine.
  14. Off to a good start it seems...
  15. Moderna's updated vaccine is supposed to be available in August and provide antibodies that work on the newer variants. Hopefully Thailand will be faster in acquiring the new vaccination than they were with the original. Moderna claims its updated COVID-19 vaccine shows strong response against Omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5 (timesnownews.com)
  16. You forgot one other option. Have another coup d'etat.
  17. Perhaps he was asleep. That would make it hard to remember what happened.
  18. He is asking in the Philippines forum, not Thailand.
  19. You might have to look at the soy milk powder. Like this one: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/100-400-i258028702-s397754744.html?search=1&spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.i40.1fcb5c37uaqIYu
