    assume you mean external SSD via USB yes you can, be sure it's USB 3.0 or above is supported latest preferred obviously for external device and port as speed of USB will determine how fast windows will run i run windows from a USB stick on a few machines with USB 3.2

    Exactly. i have seen many comments on AN that imply people think lazada is a company like homepro many fail to realise it is a marketplace (like ebay), and sales and dispatch are done by indivual sellers. i do wish lazada had a block/ignore feature though

    you just avoid those SELLERS Lazada is a marketplace if one store/seller looks scammy just move on to others

    personally i would select what AC i want BEFORE going to the shop one thing you should check on the models is the SEER number (above 20 is good) this indicates efficiency of the aircon the higher the number the lower your electric bills will be if you like a cold room, this will make a big difference units will obviously cost more but you save in the long run

    They can say whatever they like before it actually happens one thing i cannot see is Thais being charged this tax and not foreigners IF it ever comes to fruition, which does not seem likely as it is imo what is their definition of a permanent resident? (i know what it is for most of us) and how would this tax be collected if it only applies to certain people?

    before airport tax, the cost to fly to siem reap right now is around 900 baht the 700 baht TAX would make the total paid around 1600 baht add another 1000 baht TAX, bringing TAX total to 1700 baht so you are paying 2600 baht for a 900 baht flight That would make 65% of the cost is TAX

    i thought they always had the 500 baht leaving tax, and then they just had airlines include it in price a good few years back.

    The one i remember from years ago they rounded up 500 workers at the 99% completed construction site and the workers were complaining they had not been paid for 3 or 4 months i dont know what a khmer salary is here but lets say 10,000 baht a month that would equate to 15-20 million baht saved by the company

    Did they not shame the big Thai companies that employed them ? what happened to ASEAN citizens being able to work easily in other ASEAN countries? it wouldn't surprise me if they were all still owed wages this has happened before with large construction companies, they stop paying the workers, then have them rounded up and sent back to Cambodia

    you are not supposed to critique a painting until it is finished same applies here as denim said, wait till they have finished the road it may be a PITA waiting when you think the work should be done quicker but you can see from drain the road will be higher than it is currently and you want the road and drains lower than your house anyway

    might be good idea to listen to the wife on this one. as for CCTV, just contact a company, tell them what you want and let them install i installed 16ch PoE loosafe in my last house, had remote viewing, face rec, motion, cloud backup, alerts etc. that you want.

    so you are doing a border run not a "visa" run as you are not getting a visa correct? and do you have any other reason to go to immigration now or in future? if not, i wouldn't even care about it myself, as not my responsibility and it will only be needed if you want extensions or something from immigration.

    as someone else said, why lie? you seem to be panicking for no reason. if it worries you so much, just stay in a decent hotel for first night back no lies, and hotel will do TM30 report i/my wife never had any fine when first doing mine, and i had been here for months.

    do you already have TM30 slip in PP? has your address changed? if only doing a visa run i thought there was now no need to re-register yourself at your primary address here once you had registered it.

    how many days in advance where you trying? never done online but iirc it must be between 15 and 7 days prior to the report date maybe someone will chirp in and confirm how many days prior it must be
