  1. dont speak to a builder, go speak to a lawyer and see what your actual options are.
  2. sounds nice we are in process of moving to a 6 rai plot i plan to eliminate spending as much as possible, main house will be off grid, will have a pond and use the land to grow allsorts of food and raise a few animals the 6 hens we have now gave us 99 eggs last month, which we would pay about 9 baht each for from supermarket
  3. my wife and i plus 2 others, 8 dogs and 1 cat and 6 hens do just fine on 30K/month (house money, travel not included) of course both of us rarely drink alcohol but i am a carnivore and eat only meat, mostly beef and lamb although my wife does eat Thai we do eat a good bit of dairy, cream, cheese which is also not cheap although we do not pay rent we live in nice house with pool and electric is about 5-8k/month, have a well for water (net is paid 1yr in advance, not included) i literally plan for 500k/year knowing i am over what we need most months we do not spend all the 30k it is very easy here to spend more than you need too. TIP: rent a place with a decent garden, as others have stated, there are also much cheaper places to live than Thailand.
  4. by "medical consensus" i assume you mean what the celebrity doctors on the TV say ? whilst ignoring the thousands of other doctors being censored for speaking against the narrative, who are fighting against it. There has been no debate, there is no science when only 1 view is allowed to be spoken.
  5. there was no insult, just stating my observation. if you are offended, thats on you.
  6. there is not much difference to the uptake especially adding in the delay or 2 weeks before counting a death as jabbed These stats essentially provide nothing and are easily twisted to suit whoever publishes them you see the stats and you make them fit your opinion what should be concerning is why so many jabbed are dying, ignoring the percentages. jab deaths need to be compared to jab numbers, and deaths counted from time of jab. which would give us a clear jab survival rate, which they will not provide to us instead they give you meangingless stats to maintain the fear its pointless arguing any points with yourself though as you are ignorant to a differing opinion and have your mind set by your TV already.
  7. exactly my point when % gets high enough they flip the narrative to "of course more jabbed are dying as more people have been jabbed" to try and justify the deaths, whilst the next sentance is "get the jab" as blood clots and strokes, then get added to the list of "covid symptoms" *Also note, you are not counted as vaccinated death, until 14 days after the jab. (confirmed for UK/US, i assume same globally)
  8. yes, (although pro choice, not anti anything) 8.8% of those who died, were double jabbed. 7.2% were single jabbed so total of 16% of deaths are jabbed Got it, thanks.???? this number will only increase with uptake. then they flip the narrative when % gets high.
  9. happens all the time TBH i bought land like this last year my advice, pay a broker, preferably one that knows the seller personally it will cost you a bit more obviously but this is how we purchased last year we dealt with the broker the broker fronted the money to pay the bank and took possesion of the title deed until we met at land office with seller and broker to transfer ownership another option you have is find out EXACTLY how much is owed to the bank and pay ONLY THAT BY CASHIERS CHEQUE, going to the bank with the seller and then take possesion of the title deed until you go to the land office, or proceed directly to the land office from the bank if they do not want to show you a bank letter displaying the exact owed amount, do not trust them. Video/photo the meeting and any transactions ***our broker did explain they used to do as suggested above, but banks no longer pay staff to go to the land office etc.
  10. looks fine looks same to me, they just printed it the other way around still showing the outer is - and inner is +
  11. BTC is not bitcoin, and the "bitcoin is bad for enviroment" only applies to BTC as it does not scale and has max ~450k tx/day at scale the carbon footprint per TX is much less than shown above BSV is bitcoin and does scale, scaling transactions does NOT increase the total carbon footprint, which means it reduces the footprint per tx, as the same amount of power is required to mine, whether 1 tx or 1 million tx per block
  12. why do you think data collection is a theory? data is the new gold FYI, facebook owns instagram and whatsapp, its not like 3 diff companies conspired regards to the 10 year thing it was not a tool to make you look older (although those do exist, many apps have such features) not sure who started it but Zuckerberg got on it and it was a fad craze on FB posting a photo of himself now and 10 years ago many others done the same and YES, without a doubt, facebook then own said data and CAN sell it to any AI company they choose knowing specifics of facebook and who they sell data too is another matter though but data is gold in tech world right now, i know many devs stated how valueble those photos taken 10 years apart would be to AI companies there is also a similar craze happening right now, same thing, just with family photos
  13. are you limited to using a Thai bank account only? if not you have lots of options, but depends where other accounts are located there are also visa debit cards you can get to cash out when topping up card for the UK gravity@bitstocks is a great option for on/off ramp Gravity is more a custodian wallet that lets you trade between a few currencies at best rates but has simple withdraw to UK bank account at flat fee of 2 quid they also allow you to hold GBP/EUR so you dont need cash out to bank or hold a stablecoin like tether
  14. i do not doubt you bought some cheap CPU i doubt "that was in the top of the range laptop at the time " no way was you paying 270 baht for any CPU that was as you said "in the top of range laptop at that time" That CPU was released in 2007 Win10 in 2015 that CPU certainly was NOT in high end laptops at that time
  15. ahhhh...... so this is why the teacher has said there is no skool this week about time and good if teachers are speaking up online learning is abysmal
  16. make sure whatever you buy has an SSD win10 needs an SSD, especially if rest is low spec (cannot see win11 being any different) or be prepared to buy a cheap SSD to replace the HDD (also be prepared to add more ram) as for a child also consider laptop vs PC a child will likely bash a laptop around more if they have a PC, they will be learning in their desk and damage is less likely we have a child staying with us using a PC for school work TBH just for school you can get away with a tablet they only use LINE, Youtube and google sheets but we use an AIO which i had to recently upgrade with an SSD as you need to with Win10 (even though it had intel optane) One thing i strongly suggest is Kaspersky kids at only $15 a year with unlimited profiles allowing you to set a profile for school work, 1 for free time, 1 for offline use etc.
  17. what some are missing in this thread..... you cannot just give your wife the money and she buys in her name if you do that they want source of funds and signed letters from yourself to ensure your wife is not just spending your money you have to purchase together with yourself present, and its literally no questions asked about source of funds as some have mentioned you are supposed to request a letter from your bank when you transfer/withdraw funds stating the withdrawal is for house purchase etc. we own multiple properties and land we just bought one plot and i put it in the MILs name as it saved the headache as i was not able to travel to the province the MIL did not need show proof of funds, as she is not legally married (only a village ceremony) if she was she too would have had to provide source of funds its not just a Thai/ferang thing, its a Husband/Wife thing.
  18. another option is bcbitcoin.co.uk but the rates are not as good and they do not offer custodial service
