  1. Exactly. There are 22 Arab countries with a combined population of nearly 500 million. Sounds like a good place to begin. Why are they so reluctant to help their Gazan brothers and sisters?
  2. I see. That is your experience in all the multi billion dollar negotiations YOU have been a part of?
  3. Obvioiusly invalid treaties because the Natives currently occupying whatever piece of land was in question had stolen it from another tribe previously. They were occupiers, not owners.
  4. Enjoying a nice tall mug of leftist tears. Watching the Chicken Littles' of the media run around like their hair is on fire.
  5. Trump is a bullsh!tter of renown. He is a New Yorker. He is a real estate guy. All three talk this way. It is standard negotiating to stake out a demand far in advance of what you are willing to settle for. The "magic wand" you need is called common sense. As for reading minds, how do you know it will antagonize the Arab world? Just as likely that their leaders secretly would welcome a solution to the Gaza problem that lets them get back to making money and stabilizing their own regimes. Hamas is an annoyance, but one that they have to tolerate publicly.
  6. Yes, that would be the childish and petulant thing to do. All performance and no meaning. A very typical lefty response to any problem. It is rather ridiculous to think about booing at hockey games, when teams based in the US are composed of players mostly from Canada and Europe.
  7. You are making the cardinal mistake that so many make with Trump- you take him literally. As famed investor Kevin O'Leary said, "you have to separate the noise from the message" with Trump. He is not doing anything other than stating a starting negotiation position.
  8. "The natives"... did not own the land, they took it from each other through war and conquest. As did the European colonists who came later. No difference. There was no collective "natives" who claimed the entire North American continent. There were tribes in areas who came and went, depending on the season and whether or not they were at war. I guess Mexico should give their country back to the Aztecs and Maya then.
  9. And you would be assuming wrong, my friend. As for the Natives in the US, they were eagerly butchering and enslaving each other for centuries before the first European set foot on the continent.
  10. That's kinda tough to prove, since Jews have lived there since 3000 years BEFORE Islam was even founded.
  11. Actually, the amount of fentanyl and other drugs being produced IN Canada and smuggled to the US is at an all time high. In the past couple months there have been huge drug busts in British Columbia, including the largest fentanyl lab ever found in the country. 54 kg of fentanyl, mountains of precursor chemicals, 390kg of meth, 35b kg of coke, 94 firearms... The slack approach to drugs by the Trudeau government is a genuine concern.
  12. True. I also thought that the people in Gaza were refugees, hence why they still live in "refugee camps". They are not native to Gaza. So why can't they be refugees somewhere else? There are 22 countries in the Arab League, with a total population approaching 500 million. Should be easy for them to absorb a couple million from Gaza.
  13. Yeah, no. If Israel wanted to systematically kill off the Gazans, it would have been done in 72 hours. They have been remarkably restrained in their conduct of the war. If I had been in Netanyahu's shoes, I would have turned the place into a parking lot after what happened on October 7. There is no living beside people like that- they are too far gone in their hatred and worship of death.
  14. Yes, it is. He has prorogued Parliament to prevent the opposition parties from having a voice, or voting him out of office. And only one new refinery built in the last 40 years. We refine less than a third of the oil we produce.
  15. This is all about Trudeau trying to save the Liberal Party in the next election. It gives him a chance to try and look stunning and brave in the face of American aggression. And also paves the way for a WEF clone like Carney to take over. He has had months to make good with the US and chose not to. Had nearly a decade to make Canada strong and was an utter disaster. So his performance now is a final F U to the citizens of the Great White North.
  16. It is in the Pratumnak Hill area. If you look for The Winner Condominium on Prathumnak Soi 6, it is right across the street.
  17. I get the craving for good Greek (food) sometimes. GRK Restaurant in the Pattaya Park Night Plaza is actually pretty good. 50 baht for souvlaki, good roast potatoes, even tzatziki.
  18. So in other words, I was right. The majority of "crop farm workers" are in fact legal residents and citizens. Thank you for proving my point. I notice you did not mention other jobs though, since they are similarly majority legal/citizen filled. In hospitality, "immigrants" make up 22% of the workforce. Of course, this is not broken down between legal and illegal. Very happy you have seen the world and have a Thai GF. Congratulations. And the fact that you have done "scut work" belies your assertion that regular Americans would not do so.
  19. And also half Italian. If only she would cry for the young girls who are gang raped by cartel animals while being trafficked to the States. Or the women who are sold into sexual slavery.
  20. It is lovely to see multi-millionaire Hostin trying so desperately to be outraged and rightous about her plight. Especially as she and her husband relax in their 10 bedroom Tudor style estate. She has never been the same since discovering (to her shame) that she is not actually Puerto Rican, but actually descended from Spanish colonizers and slave owners.
  21. Why are you such a racist? Greedily desiring a permanent underclass of brown people to do the "scut work".... you really have such a low opinion of people? Not to mention that the majority of people in America who pick crops and clean hotel rooms ARE either American citizens or legal residents. Please explain why it is necessary to exploit others to fill in the gaps, I would love to hear. The tired shibboleth of "jobs Americans won't do" is nonsense.
  22. You know, I don't recall her quoting any of those passages. She made no reference to scripture at all. She DID take pains to mention all the modern woke identity groups though. Tells you where her priorities are. As for multiple adulterers being in church... isn't that the best place for them to be? I kinda remember Jesus breaking bread with the tax collectors and ladies of questionable repute, but I could be wrong.
  23. So, a trillion in investments in 72 hours. Not bad for The Donald...
  24. No, she wasn't. Unless you consider "Democratic Talking Points" as gospel. Her obvious distaste for Trump was rather sad, really. She has a history of bringing her personal politics into her preaching.
  25. Wow, that was so clever! Did you manage to think it all up by yourself, or did you have help? Somehow methinks the latter... But no, of course I was talking about the bishop who took the opportunity to repeat her shallow and facile message about all those poor folks who need to fear for their lives due to the Bad Orange Man. This has been a theme of hers for nearly a decade, nothing new or fresh about it at all. She enjoys the limelight of media attention, which is a little unseemly for a member of the clergy IMHO. As is getting too involved in partisan politics.
