Zero fact checks on Harris' lies. "Fine people on both sides" "Project 2025" "Trump wants a federal abortion ban", and so on.

I dont care who you think he hates or not. To me, he is a far bigger supporter of Jews than any of the Democrats. And there is also past performance to look at . The US under Trump was a good place- low inflation, low unemployment, etc. Under harris and Biden? Not so good. That is why the Democrats are avoiding issues like inflation and the economy.

Fox News is a balance to CNN. They are at least unashamedly right leaning. CNN tries to keep the myth alive that they are unbiased. The difference to MSNBC is that MS is almost purely an opinion station. Fox News is similar to CNN in that it has both opinion/commentary/analysis programming and actual news.

No evidence for the dog story. More for taking the wild fowl from the parks. And even more for the damage to the community caused by the Biden-Harris administration settling 15-20,000 migrants in such a small community. That is the real story.

The pass rate for the bar at that time in California was about 50%. So, by failing, she was dumber than half the applicants- she was in the lower half of lawyers. Hardly a genius. And certainly not stable. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/07/31/trump-claim-kamala-harris-did-not-pass-bar-exam/74623417007/

Yeah, such a high IQ.... as evidenced by needing two tries to pass the bar in California, and by her elegant command of the English language...

How about a third debate, this one on Fox News, or perhaps using the Wall Street Journal and their writers? I mean, there was already one debate with Harris on a blatantly partisan network with obviously biased moderators. IF Harris were confident, she would return the favour and agree to debate on a Trump-friendly network. After all, she has the better ideas, right? So let her debate with Brett Baier and Martha MacCallum as the mods.

Kamala Harris Blames Trump Policies for Deaths of Two Georgia Women
Hanaguma replied to Social Media's topic in World News
If you are interested, here is the Trump position on abortion, as taken from his website; We proudly stand for families and Life. We believe that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States guarantees that no person can be denied Life or Liberty without Due Process, and that the States are, therefore, free to pass Laws protecting those Rights. After 51 years, because of us, that power has been given to the States and to a vote of the People. We will oppose Late Term Abortion, while supporting mothers and policies that advance Prenatal Care, access to Birth Control, and IVF (fertility treatments). -
Kamala Harris Blames Trump Policies for Deaths of Two Georgia Women
Hanaguma replied to Social Media's topic in World News
No, they havent. Both are in favour of each state deciding for itself. Plus, I am still waiting to hear what Harris/Walz think is appropriate. All they do is spout bromides and euphemisms. At what point do THEY think abortion should not be allowed? Keeping in mind the usual exceptions (rape, incest, possible death of the mother). The law in Georgia, from what I read, had nothing to do with these two sad situations. But perhaps the perception of the law, as spread by the corporate media, contributed to their deaths. -
Exactly right. The democrats concnetrate on the irrelevant details and ignore the larger issue. Something over a million migrants have either entered the US under the Bideb-Harris expansion of theTemporary Protected Status program, or are in the pipeline to come. Interestingly, more than half are Venezuelan.

Was Harris using an hearing gadget at the debate?
Hanaguma replied to EVENKEEL's topic in Political Soapbox
There is also an interesting conspiracy theory floating around about a whistleblower at ABC news. This person claims that the questions were preselected and given to Harris, that embarrassing topics would not be mentioned, and that the set design/podium would be modified so that Kamala doesnt look short compared to Trump. Still waiting for any independent confirmation though. The affadavit was supposedly sworn on Sep. 9, the day before the debate. Interesting that the three topics mentioned in the affadavit as taboo were not brought up in the debate. And the network has admitted that Harris was given a smaller podium so that she didnt look bad on the split screens. We shall see. Could be crap, could be treasure. -
Well, you ARE right about one thing- he is up against somebody younger. The rest is unproven, and if Kamala has her way will remain so. Polling now is better than 2020 and even than 2016 for the Bad Orange Man at this stage. As for the so-called "popular vote", that matters as much as a bucket of warm hamster vomit. Voting patterns are not based on it, so the results are not valid in any real way. Same thing in Canada, Trudeau came in 2nd in the popular vote but won more seats in Parliament and became the Prime Minister.

Nice conspiracy theory. How does that happen exactly? Lots of missing steps in there. And most important, why didn't it happen when Trump won in 2016?

Will Harris' Leadership Unite or Divide the Nation?
Hanaguma replied to CharlieH's topic in Political Soapbox
Well, if she had any proven leadership experience we could evaluate. We do have Trump's tenure in office though. And when asked, a majority of Americans think they were better off under Trump than the Biden-Harris administration. Not to mention that Trump is still favoured on the issues of the economy, inflation, and immigration. Still, the uniting or dividing is over. The media (both corporate and social) make too much money on division. How many ".... destroyed by...." videos are there? The days of Clinton and GIngrich having a quiet whisky after work are long gone. -
Harris-Walz Campaign Opts for Media Silence as Election Nears
Hanaguma replied to Social Media's topic in World News
As I have said many times, Trump wasn't my first, or second, or third choice for the GOP. But Harris is the last choice for both parties. She would be a disaster. Frankly, his lies and BS don't bother me much. It is a New York thing, and baked into the pie. I look at his performance during his time in office, his actual policies as opposed to his BS, and it is miles ahead of the Democrats. -

Yeah, Walz definitely fits that bill. I was more the JD type. Just a few years, but full time. So, what have YOU done for your country, other than embarrass it with your tiny-fisted tantrums here? -

You are getting so worked up, your typing is suffering even more than usual. Please do take a break. It is funny that, as a proud American, you use the name of another country as your handle here. -

Your memory that far gone? You know I am from the Republic of Canuckistan. Also did some time in the military, but back in the 80s when we were worried about the Soviets. -

b-b-but Trump! Actually, to be honest I dont think Harris IS flip flopping. She is simply lying. Her actual views have not changed. But she is pandering to the gullible press in an effort to bolster her campaign for president. You saw the true Harris in 2019-20. The version you see today is not an upgrade, it is an avatar. -

No. You are wrong. Walz did 24 years of one weekend a month plus summer training. Vance did 4 years full time, including a tour in Iraq. Please get your facts straight, if possible. -

b-b-but Trump! is not a great answer when talking about the Harris platform.
