Which of those are actually "rights", which are not, and which are actually so threatened? Like Trump, I did not write it. From my brief look at the general principles, some are good and some are silly. The abortion one in particular- did you not hear Trump's answer at the debate? He has no interest in the federal government being involved at all. I guess the Democrats are trying to make it the "Russia Russia Russia" talking point for this campaign.

Not according to the Treasury Department homepage... https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/americas-finance-guide/national-deficit/#us-deficit-by-year Trump's total for 2017-19 was 2.43 trillion. Biden from 2022-23 was 3.08 trillion. Plus this year is 1.2 trillion and counting. He is still burning through money at a stupid rate. Might hit 2 trillion for the year in 2024.

The scary thing is that Biden even drags the teleprompter to private fundraisers, held in private homes. He has it set up literally in the living room of a rich donor and then reads it to those attending. Afterwards, takes off without interacting with or talking to the attendees. I think a lot of the donor class are going to stay on the sidelines.

"Your democracy" isn't under threat. Even if the US WAS a democracy, which it isn't. I mean seriously, what do you think that Trump can de exactly to hurt the Republic? He already had 4 years in office, did nothing to alter the Constitution, and left office for Biden to be inaugurated. Where is the threat?

I guess Joe had the font size on the teleprompter increased. No thanks to President Trump for cajoling and shaming many NATO countries into fulfilling their 2% defence obligations? How ungrateful. Supporting democracy is a fine idea, but I wonder why NATO is supporting Ukraine?

Fifth Congressional Democrat Publicly Calls for Biden to Step Down
Hanaguma replied to Social Media's topic in World News
You must be joking. I saw her gaslighting Biden in the 2020 Democratic primary debates, also getting owned by Tulsi Gabbard. And also saw her campaign very quickly immolate before the caucuses and primaries even began. She was thoroughly and comprehensively rejected by the whole of the Democratic Party at that time. She will get the money though. And she is almost half black, which counts for a lot to the Dems. Although a genuine African American would be better. -
I have a feeling this is easy, but being Thailand.... My bank account at Bangkok Bank is at a branch in Chiang Mai. But I will be spending most of my time in Chonburi- have a condo there etc. Is it possible to have my account transferred to a branch nearer to my home base in Chonburi? What will this entail and will it be a major pain in the kaziff? Thanks for all answers and advice!

Fifth Congressional Democrat Publicly Calls for Biden to Step Down

Yeah, sure there are. Anyway, any reaction to what I posted that was actually on topic? It seems that a lot of the prospective candidates to replace Joe this year are falling back in line. A couple of reasons may be; a/ they don't want to take the chance of losing to The Donald and torpedoing their chances going forward b/ if Joe runs and loses, that makes the 2028 election wide open for them c/ they won't get the money in Joe's election warchest and will have to start fundraising again -

Glad you remember it. A lot of media kerfuffle and nothing more. For the average American, they were good years. Low inflation, low unemployment (especially for minorities) etc. Nobody will remember the political scandals or what world leaders thought when they vote this year. They will remember the two dollar gas and the 3% mortgage and want them back. -

You forget that pre-Covid, the Trump years were anything but chaos. The world was largely at peace, the economy was ticking along, inflation was low, real strides were make in prison reform, etc. Now you can (and many will) argue as to exactly where the credit goes for those things, and that is fair. But they are truths regardless. -

Interesting twist these days- it seems that a lot of the prospective candidates to replace Joe this year are falling back in line. A couple of reasons may be; a/ they don't want to take the chance of losing to The Donald and torpedoing their chances going forward b/ if Joe runs and loses, that makes the 2028 election wide open for them c/ they won't get the money in Joe's election warchest and will have to start fundraising again They may be behind Kamala taking the top slot also for the above reasons. She runs and loses, and 2028 is wide open. There are a lot of Democratic governors waiting in the wings for their shot, and they are young enough to wait 4 years. So much for Trump being such a threat to democracy, I guess. -
Adam Schiff Advocates Cognitive Tests for Biden and Trump

As things stand, "The Felon" will be your President in January 2025. Better get used to it. -
Ah Bernie... I remember he used to rail on and on about the "millionaires and billionaires" not paying their fair share. Until he himself became a millionaire. Then suddenly it was JUST the "billionaires" who were evil. Nice guy, but one of the few people to get kicked out of a hippie commune for being too lazy to work. That takes some doing!

Biden continuing is the best news the GOP could have hoped for. Now wait for the media to sway yet again from "Joe needs to go" to "way to go Joe!". For the fourth time, by my count. Trump being smart and disciplined (never thought I would type those words) and letting the Democrats implode without interference. He is getting some good advice that he is actually following for a change.

Zelensky Challenges Trump on War Plans, Decries Weapons Delays

Fine. So how many Americans do YOU think should die to save Ukraine then?
