    Much like Rightists don't believe the "legacy" media like the Guardian, BBC etc, I do not believe that "the Mail understands..." and "our sources" are facts. The Sun and News of the world (RIP) as well. The gutter/tabloid press in the UK are well-known for this (see The Sun after Hillsborough).

    Hence the Public Inquiry. As you know, I think it's shameful that the likes of Tommy and Farage (and the rest of Reform) are doing their level best to ratchet up the hate and make political capital out of the tragedy, with no regard for the victims' families. But we can agree to disagree on that!

    Not seen many posts arguing for immediate deportation. Strange, as there are hundreds advocating this for other muslim refugees/asylum seekers. 🙄

    I wouldn't go so far as "fantastic" but I think he's doing a good job sorting out the mess from the years of Tory mismanagement. His immigration policies are not any different from the Tories, although I truly hope he doesn't follow through with raising the minimum income requirement for Settlement visas. Genuine refugees will continue to be admitted, and if this was done properly it might stop the numbers of illegals coming across the Channel.

    The full facts will hopefully be known in time, as the government have ordered a Public Inquiry into the attack and the circumstances around it.
