    I suspect you're not familiar with UK law, so here's some help: "A life sentence in the UK means that a person will spend the rest of their life in prison or on license in the community. The length of time served in prison depends on the minimum term set by the judge and whether the offender is granted parole."

    I wrote "jailed for life" - i.e. a life sentence. I understand that his age is likely to prevent a whole life term, like with Jamie Bulger's killers who I referred to.

    I would expect so. It's mandatory for murder. I guess there might some hope of future release bearing in mind his age (see Jamie Bulger's murderers) but in the current climate I would say, and hope, life will be life.

    I'm a Labour supporter, but I can understand the anger that non-Labour supporters have with the government and the PM. I had to go through 14 years of anger and frustration with the far more awful governments of Cameron (Brexit!), May, Johnson, Truss and Sunak! It's just politics.

    Thanks. The filter has been cleaned and I seem to remember a different code that shows when it needs cleaning. I've tried pressing and holding the Start button but it doesn't change anything.
