  1. Sadly no, there are likely to be many more. But still a tiny minority. I'm guessing you don't work with or know many muslims? The ones I've worked with and taught over many years have no time for extremists.
  2. One extremist, radical preacher, well-known for his homophobia, anti-semitism and extreme views, is not representative of the approximately 1.9 billion muslims in the world!
  3. Update: For all those "millions" who signed the petition, it is being debated right now in Parliament. Maybe there will be an election...🙄😀
  4. That is what was great about Stringfellows (not Goldfingers as I wrote before!) on soi 13. Some amazing looking very slim and sexy creatures to be found - and not shy. I don't think it's there any more though. 😒
  5. That's a great read, and sounds extremely plausible. It will be fascinating to watch the train wreck over the next few months.
  6. Indeed, a quick AI check can show that. "The idea of a "no-go zone" is a false construct that's often used to justify distrust of a particular ethnic or religious group. It's associated with fears that these places are governed by sharia law, but sharia councils in the UK don't have legal standing. They serve a religious function, similar to a Jewish Beth Din or a Catholic Consistory Court"
  7. Naturally, although I'm no longer a tourist! I do miss Goldfingers on soi 13 though!
  8. Yes, you did miss something if you really thought that! The BIB try to clear the soliciting on Beach Road and elsewhere every now and again but as the fine is low, they're back again in hours. Stick to barfining girls/boys/ladyboys from bars and doing your business in private is fine.
  9. A lot of tourists are there for the ladyboys! One of Thailand's most popular tourist attractions.
  10. He hasn't gone yet. The Liberals have to chose his replacement first and then there will be an election (before October).
  11. Good to see, as there's not one in Terminal 21. Be careful crossing the road from Terminal 21 though, even if using the traffic light controlled crossing!
  12. https://x.com/i/status/1876338280305656114 Well worth watching the Home Secretary's response to her shadow's politicking.
  13. Stop flame-throwing on Twitter/X and focus on reaching Mars and making better E-cars.
  14. Maybe not Bob Scott's fault, but the sub-editor's idea of an attention-grabbing headline!
  15. The motorcycle behind clearly stops. The two speeding by, may well have stopped further down the road.
  16. Haha! I suspect Keir will also resign after he's been in power for nearly 10 years.
  17. Musk is just a very talented flame-thrower and attention seeker. I can't wait until he falls out with Trump, which is inevitable! 🤭
  18. Are the "far Right" about to be in power in the USA? Or is Trump too soft? It will be interesting to see how hard he will be.
  19. You'd be right! Maybe the recommendations from the last inquiry should be actioned before another one is carried out. The political point-scoring from Musk and the right is just that, and shameful.
  20. No worries. Just be more careful with your wording, especially when linking to a Musk post.
  21. Why would I do that? Is it what the average Musk follower believes?
  22. Apologies. When you wrote: "I didn't realize just how badly these poor girls suffered while officials turned a blind eye to these Islamic extremists", I assumed "these" meant the girls and the perpetrators in the case referred to. I just wanted to set the record straight about that particularly horrific case.
  23. The horrific case you're (or Elon) is referring to, which is from 2013, resulted in life sentences for the perpetrators, so not sure why you think a blind eye was turned?
