  1. Under a million for sure - 600-800 ideally.
  2. Thanks. I'm still hoping it might be able to be possible to switch my son from my dependant to his own ED extension, without having to get a new visa.
  3. You have to submit the application at VFS in Bangkok (or use an agent).
  4. Is it hybrid? I can't have charging at home, so don't want a 100% EV.

  6. I've been driving a Nissan March since 2014, so anything new should be better than I'm used to!
  7. I'm trying to switch my 10-year-old son's Extension from piggy-backing on my work extension, to his own ED visa. I also want to switch my wife's Extension to a Parent/Guardian extension. Although they both originally had non-O visas issued in London back in 2016, they've been on continuous extensions since then. My son's school advise that it will be necessary for both of them to get new O visas, outside Thailand, in order for the extensions to be switched. A major pain, as I had assumed it could all be done in Thailand. If we do need to leave Thailand, which Embassy/Consulate is recommended these days? My son is British and my wife is Lao. I understand that the application process is all online, but the applicant/s need to be in the country they are applying from. How long should the process take? Thanks
  8. She didn't just post an "offensive" tweet! She made violent threats towards people!
  9. I'm considering a Nissan Kicks e-power car to replace my elderly March. https://www.nissan.co.th/vehicles/new-vehicles/new-kicks.html Anyone got one?
  10. 1. You keep your old passport while the new one is being issued. 2. The UK don't care about your visa status in Thailand. But it might take time to get the new passport, anything from 4 to 8 weeks. 3. Any bill with your address, or a Thai DL that shows your address, or a bank statement, or get a residency certificate. All documents must be in English.
  11. Anyone know much about the Nissan New Kicks e-Power e?
  12. Interesting that she was travelling from Bangkok, just like the girl who did the same thing and was caught in Georgia. Smuggling cannabis from Thailand is obviously big business. These two got caught, but presumably many get through.
  13. Well done Starmer, but why so overly cautious about allowing freedom of movement for young people?
  14. Except the change is not an increase in visa fees, it's the application of a financial requirement for applicants.
  15. I agree. That's why I was surprised some seem to suggest the change is so embassies can make more money.
  16. How do Embassies make more money if the government make it more difficult for people to get visas??
  17. You have to wait until June 8 - 3 days before you travel.
  18. The stats show that about 70% of worldwide relationships are heterosexual, so while the trends are changing, I agree with you, it's for the better that society has become more accepting.
  19. I would expect that will revert back to 30 days, so fine for those who can't meet the visa requirements.
  20. Bruce is an American hero. Too bad he's got under Trump's oh so sensitive skin. 🤣
  21. Yes, he was a hardened criminal and no doubt moved to Thailand to carry on his offending.
