Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital

Russia's massive troll army isn't going to like this. Twitter will put warnings on tweets sharing links to Russian state-affiliated media, the platform said Monday, as Kremlin-tied outlets are accused of spreading misinformation on Moscow's invasion of Ukraine "Kremlin-run media outlets RT and Sputnik have both faced accusations of using false narratives in an effort to argue in favor of war. Twitter's head of site integrity, Yoel Roth, wrote that the platform has been seeing more than 45,000 tweets per day that are sharing links to state-affiliated media outlets." https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20220228-twitter-to-label-tweets-linking-to-russian-state-media -

Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital

"future deliveries will have to move in more covert conveys through contested territory, most likely from Poland which shares a 535km border with Ukraine and has been the main destination for the Nato troops deployed to its eastern flank this year." On Saturday, there were reports that airborne Russian forces had landed in western Ukraine, potentially complicating deliveries further. “Nothing has been cut off by the Russian advance,” a senior western intelligence official said. “There’s a broad range of . . . political and military assistance that can still be provided.” https://www.ft.com/content/38c1ee58-6bc0-4d47-a5f9-3f7021fb46ef -
I read a piece on twitter that was reported from Russian state TV last night. A prominent pro Putin presenter was referring to the wests sanctions and of blocking Russia from the world. He said, "if Russia is no longer part of the world, then there is no need to have a world" A chilling statement. Very similar to where Putin himself in a 2018 interview said. Why do we need a world without Russia in it?" Back to today......... "Putin's in a tight spot," believes Moscow-based defence analyst Pavel Felgenhauer. "He doesn't have many options left, once the West freezes the assets of the Russian Central bank and Russia's financial system actually implodes. That will make the system unworkable. "One option for him is to cut gas supplies to Europe, hoping that will make the Europeans climb down. Another option is to explode a nuclear weapon somewhere over the North Sea between Britain and Denmark and see what happens." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-60551140

Meanwhile we have those in high positions here actively embracing the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Opinion: Thailand’s conservatives are throwing their support behind Putin, should we be surprised? “I would like to send a morale support for President Vladimir Putin and the Russian army. I always like his leadership and decisiveness and he is clearly friendly to the Kingdom of Thailand and trustworthy, like President Xi Jinping,” wrote Police Major General Rianthong Nanna, the director of Mongkutwattana Hospital. https://www.thaienquirer.com/37935/opinion-thailands-conservatives-are-throwing-their-support-behind-putin-should-we-be-surprised/

Not sure what they all do but I guess many others work online same as their western counterparts or as you say some may have retired.

Putin, raising the rhetoric and scaremongering. Absolute nutcase! By ASSOCIATED PRESS | PUBLISHED: February 27, 2022 at 8:40 a.m. | UPDATED: February 27, 2022 KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — In a dramatic escalation of East-West tensions over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian nuclear deterrent forces put on high alert Sunday in response to what he called “aggressive statements” by leading NATO powers. The order means Putin has ordered Russia’s nuclear weapons prepared for increased readiness to launch, raising the threat that the tensions could boil over into a nuclear war. In giving it, the Russian leader also cited hard-hitting financial sanctions imposed by the West against Russia, including Putin himself. https://www.readingeagle.com/2022/02/27/putin-puts-russias-nuclear-forces-on-alert-cites-sanctions/ -

I would be asking that to the Russian invaders first. Are they all there willingly? -
It would depend on why you are unvaccinated, if its because you recently had covid and so do not need a vaccination yet (I think its 30 days gap recommended) it may be possible to get a medical exemption. Same goes if you are one of those rare individuals who have a medical condition then you also get an exemption. However if its because you simply do not want to be vaccinated because of your own decision then of course its still possible but rather than have the privilege of the test and go entry, you will need to 10 day quarantine option. All decisions have consequences.

He [Zelensky] won a landslide election with 73% of the votes while the other contender got only 24%. He turned out to be an excellent leader who has not let his country down in anyway.
