Thai visa agencies offer hassle-free DTV applications
nickmondo replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Didnt take long for the scavengers to offer this service did it. If you have any brain in your head at all, do it yourself. Dont line the pockets of these agencies.........parasites. -
White culture is something that racist black people have invented. I think we all know who the real racists are.

Pit Bull Attacks & Kills 67-Year-Old Woman Cycling in Pathum Thani
nickmondo replied to Georgealbert's topic in Bangkok News
I gave up cycling in Thailand years ago due to dog attacks. Never saw a Pitbull, just various types of Soi Dogs. If i could own a gun here in Thailand I would, and I would put it to good use to make the streets safer. -
Thailand issues four major announcements on new visa measures

Thailand CANNOT tax worldwide income. It is not possible. The sooner people stop spreading this nonsense the better -
Personally, I will do 3 months Thailand, using the 60 exempt plus 30 then 3 mnths Cambodia, going there Visa exempt and extending for 1 year back to Thailand on the 60 exempt plus 30 , but will only stay here 89 days back to Cambodia for the last 3 mnths and 1 day. I have a house here in Thailand............and is possible to rent month to month in Cambodia. Thailand pisses me off if im here too long anyway..........so its a good fit, and can travel all of Cambodia. The next year, as above, but maybe Laos instead of Cambodia The next year maybe PH............anywhere is SE Asia is ok for me.

So if I stay here 180 days a year, I am classed as Thai resident and they will tax my worldwide income. So what about the fact that I stay in the UK for 185 days of that same year, which makes me a resident there, and the UK taxes my Worldwide income. Ths is all b.s., and Im not playing. already done my planning, I will not stay in Thailand more than 179 days a year. Even if they dont bring in this stupid rule.............my patience is exhausted now with their rules changing all the bloody time

Destination Thailand Visa Gains Popularity Among Expats
nickmondo replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
i think you need to swot up on the different visas applicable nowadays. 60 days for anyone nowadays, with an extension of 30 for less money than the Vietnam option. -
Destination Thailand Visa Gains Popularity Among Expats

few, if any, of us suckers will be paying any income tax. do your research, know what monies to bring to Thailand that are not taxable. its easy, but probably too much for you to comprehend. -

Tragic End to Dream Holiday: Brit Found Dead in Thai Waters

at 27 he should be old enough to look after himself even if drunk. I well remember, that when i was young........I used to get so drunk, I could not even walk, so I always had to drive home... 🙂 -

Queen Siriraj hospital Bangkok. i go there for my heart problems. yes, a lot of people there, and registering is a pain, but worth it. Good enough for the Royal Family, good enough for me. And its funded by the Royals, so it has all the best kit.

I used to believe renting was the only thing to do here as a single man. but now, in a LTR I am more than happy to buy a house, and more than happy to leave it to my Thai gf after i die. I dont have any other dependants and Im bloody sure my siblings wont be getting their greedy mits on it. I dont care about selling and making a profit. Im 67 and will not move until I die. I will never go back to UK.........English people will know why.......current situation there. I have bought next to a golf course, on a secure brand new village, and 10 minutes from the city and beaches. I could have continued to rent, but quality houses now are 25k plus a month. So based on the maths.....decided to buy. Still got enough income and savings to last until Im 95, so should be fine. House cost 4.8 million baht, 3 beds, 2 baths, so if i did want to rent it out for whatever reason, Im going to get much more income than leaving the 4.8 million n the bank or in the UK. so all bases covered as far as i am concerned.
