  1. Ok. I didn't know this was the case. It is said though that the longer between shots the longer the protection. By putting them at risk I was meaning the protection will last a shorter period of time. Do you know if any other country in the world is doing this. If the company that makes the stuff says 12 wks for best protection I guess 3 wks would get you the least protection.
  2. To fly to Khon Kaen I meant to have a full vaccination certificate and a negative RT-PCR test. There's a story on the other site we can't quote from. Most airports are requiring double vaxed certs. This is not good. My 2nd vaccine is mid October. What about buses I wander? Double vaxed cert? Less than 10% have this.
  3. Numbers down, testing down. Probably see testing going down to 40k and infection numbers dropping accordingly. As for the vaccination number of 915,738 doses in one day I think works out to more than 10 people per second recieving a jab. Correct me if I'm wrong. 86,400 seconds in a day. As I have previously posted a friend and 155 others where he works recieved their 2nd AZ jab just 3 wks after their first. How many others have had the same thing. A very good way to increase double jabbed numbers rapidly. I hope this is picked up by news outlets. Complete sham that puts the health and longer term protection of the recipients at risk.
  4. I wonder how many of these were 3 weeks after the 1st AZ jab. I know 156 were as I have previously posted. This is how you get fully vaccinated numbers up quickly. Never mind that protection will now last a much shorter time. AZ 8wks between shots minimum with recommended being 12 wks.
  5. Well there also exists the Alt Right so let's not forget them. So happens that the states with the worst vaccines rates in the US are the conservative states.
  6. If it's a complete nonsence post then it should be pointed out. For most on here rationality, reality and reasonableness is the order of the day for some others it isn't.
  7. I posted earlier that someone I know got the 2nd AZ along with 155 other workers 3 weeks after their first jab. Something definitely below board going on here. Same with daily numbers.
  8. Two things. One: Average tests across all provinces is around 660 which is extremely low. Two: Someone I know has just been given their 2nd AZ jab just 3 weeks after the first. All 155 others who work at the same place also had the 2nd jab after 3 wks. This is madness. How much is this happening to boost vax numbers?
  9. Still running around 40% positives from testing. The US has half of the population fully vaccinated and hospitalisations and deaths are on the way up as the country opens up. The unvaccinated are the drivers of numbers going up. Thailand <10% fully vaccinated.
  10. Some vaccinated people are getting seriously ill and some are dying. They are being infected by someone else.
  11. Temp measuring has always been a bit of a nonsence. For one even before delta there were a variety of symptoms fever only being one and not always present. Obviously pre-symptomatic and asymtomatic will not have a fever but are still contagious. I've seen people spraying their clothes and even their feet. Complete ignorance and fear propogated by the govt. to sell the products I'm sure they're getting some rather fat kickbacks from.
  12. I always thought (as does every expert in this matter) one of the best control measures was mass testing the community. They obviously think differently.
  13. Much, much lower is correct but it's not zero. We know how delta works. A poster mentioned Israel before. Interesting to look at this. Openned up. Fairly high full vaccination rate of >60%. Hospitalisations and deaths are still low but cases are on the up. Experts are looking closely at Israel for vaccine waning and breakthrough. As of yesterday Thailand hadn't reached 10% fully vaccinated and we know that a large percentage of this number would be Sinovac. This is a very, very low proportion of the country vaccinated. Maybe another gamble Thailand has to have but I haven't heard Mr. Empty Head Full Pockets come out and say it this time.
  14. Senior doctors are warning the government that the right balance must be struck when considering easing Covid-19 restrictions otherwise hard-earned gains number manipulations may be erased.
  15. Maybe it's the low vaccination of the population. Maybe it's because of low testing rates. Maybe it's because they don't trust the numbers. Maybe it's all three.
  16. On the site we cannot quote from there is a story about jabbing all students from 12-18 with pfizer starting nxt mnth. Do not know the exact situation with my student. My students do not come from rich families. Other end of the scale in fact.
  17. Walkins are up around 600 from yesterday but tests are exactly the same as yesterday. Forgot to mention one of my students contacted me saying they cannot join the online class today. Going to get vaccinated. Mathayom 1 or grade 7 if you like so 12 or 13 yrs old. Going to be jabbed with Pfizer.
  18. Well looks like we're around the 20k mark for ATK tests for the past week. 5k for today is again a high enough number to be discernable in daily infection figures like the 7k should have been and wasn't.
  19. Pitty they do basically no proactive testing.
  20. Maybe less people are being hospitalised than before because they're sending them to field hospitals, hospitels or home. It's serious, ICU/intubated and deaths that's a good inicator. Obviously infections aren't because the numbers are meaningless with the abismal rate of testing. Test 100,000 a day then more credibility. Still a very low number for a population of 70,000,000.
  21. If it works within a 80-100% range it will be very useful. Be nice to see some peer review data. Question is what happens if you test positive?
