  1. You say AI doesn't interest you and fair enough but be aware that most Thaiger articles are AI generated. Many times on this site you are reading news articles that are AI generated not what has person has written. Very sad state of affairs IMHO. All AI generated articles should be declared as such.
  2. The news maybe real but a lot of the articles are ChatGPT. Real people writing real articles not real people getting AI to create articles or people declaring the article is AI. IMHO this is the way it should be. If it's possible to plagiarise AI then this is what is happening. Must be a pretty easy job at some of these online news sites. Type in a few key words and get AI to create the article. Wonder how much they get paid?
  3. GPTZero. A The Thaiger article. Open source no download needed.
  4. The Thaiger uses ChatGPT all the time. Not what I would call journalism. Type in some key words into ChatGPT, let AI generate the story, then claim you wrote it. This needs to stop. If ChatGPT is generating the articles then is should be shown as such. Run any The Thaiger article through GPTZero and see the results for yourself.
  5. 287 over the 7 days is an average of 41. Average daily death toll is around the 60 mark. This is a bit dated but https://cdn.who.int/media/docs/default-source/thailand/roadsafety/overview-en-final-25-7-19.pdf?sfvrsn=f9d7a862_2
  6. Another nonsense article from The Thaiger. If numbers are down there is no possible way they can surge. Average daily death toll/accidents causing injury over the "seven deadly days" of Songkran was less than the overall daily average over a year. So in actual fact the numbers reduced. Not surged.
  7. New York officially recognises Songkran as an important cultural event The legislative assembly of New York State In the resolution, it is mentioned that Songkran is not only celebrated in Thailand, but also in Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar, as well as among minorities in Vietnam, China’s Yunnan province and in Sri Lanka. Wow! I'm sure this made the front page of The New York Post.
  8. Type USA press release/aid/investment into ChatGPT and you may well get a similar reading article.
  9. Democracy? Nup. Last election is 100% proof of a lack of democracy. Rule of law? This is so far from reality to be laughable. Too many are above the law and/or untouchable. Human rights? Section 112 being weaponised clearly demonstrates that human rights are being violated. Not much of an alignment IMO.
  10. Favourable to the status quo and the power of the military/elite is more likely than any move toward true democracy.
  11. I agree. What this country needs is more corruption and extrajudicial murders.
  12. So come back. Go to jail without going to jail. Go to police hospital without needing to go to police hospital. Get royal pardon. Be released.
  13. You mean like ThaiVisa will never change it's name to AseanNow?
  14. If you haven't noticed The Thaiger uses ChatGPT extensively.
  15. The Asean Thaiger Chat GPT.
  16. Guess we can look forward to more Chat GPT produced content with article images selected by or totally AI. Yippee! The NZAero article with a pic of a Papua New Guinea Defence Force Officer for a story about NZAero and Thai aviation business is a classic example. The Indonesian sub image in the article about the Chinese sub purchase was another classic although this was Thai Newsroom. NZAero’s mega deal set to soar with Thai aviation giants Defence Minister, Navy Chief Leave For China To Wrap Up Submarine Deal Maybe the standards will improve but I won't hold my breath. More or less pop-ups??????
  17. You are somewhat wrong. Change "appears to be" to "is" and then you're 100% correct. No doubt needed on your part. One get's the impression that that Chat GPT chooses random images along with producing the articles at The Thaiger GPT. It's just so amateur that everyone one at The Thaiger GPT should be embarrased. I believe this may be the same person....
  18. The Thaiger may soon be the new owner of this site, however, this article does not come from The Thaiger.
  19. To true and MFP were denied their right to govern through a deal that saw Thaksin return with no jail time. Yingluck I expect will see the same amount of jail time. Zero.
  20. New battery technology and hyrdrogen cell/liquid hydrogen technology isn't too far away. Lithium ion batteries are on the way out. This was my point.
  21. Thailand’s PTT Plc sees future in hydrogen fuel for vehicles Thailand: The HUB of being late to the party. PTT Plc, Thailand’s national oil and gas conglomerate, is forecasting a future where hydrogen could potentially replace oil-powered vehicles,
  22. Yep. Face of Tesla is certainly about to change with 10% of it's global workforce going to get the boot.
