Amphetamines would top the list as the most harmful I guess and dope would come in last on the list. Definig harmful may change the order of the top 3 but whatever the definition dope would still be the least harmful. Apart from this it's been said by the PM that dope is bad for the economy and others in the govt/govt departments about social risks and harms. Absolutely no data presented.

Pheu Thai is reformist, not neo conservative party, Thaksin claims
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
PTP is a conservative populist party in bed with the ultra-conservative military elite. I challenge anyone to dispute this. -
Political inferno: Move Forward Party risks dissolution
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
MFP was FFP's plan B. Plan C; the formation of the new MFP would have been being planned since or even before the last sham election. It's sad that any mention of 112 reform is now being legitimised to be a move against the Constitutional Monarchy itself. Everyone knows this isn't the case but will be legitimised via the junta's legal apparatus. If the military says it's the case it will be the case. -
Isn't using the bank's app real online banking? As for @spidermike007 can only agree 100% about waiting for some dozy person to go through their phone and then work out all over again how to work the app. It's like watching someone scrolling through their photos. Of course another thing is the app might be down or the internet might be down and then you're screwed. Cash is my go to but I do use QR codes sometimes.

Pita bids farewell to parliament, calls for cabinet reshuffle
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
So being that on average there's been a coup every 4.5 years and the last one here was in 2014 you say it's too early for the next one. I'm missing your logic on this one. It would seem at 10 years it's well overdue according to the average. -
Thailand grapples with scorching 43C heatwave and health risks
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
IT'S NOT A HEATWAVE!!!!! Hot days and hot nights are normal for the HOT SEASON. Heatwaves are abnormally high day and night temps for an extended period. This quite simply is not the case. -
Pita bids farewell to parliament, calls for cabinet reshuffle
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Only the military elite are allowed to be in power. Anyone else will be denied such power before, during or after elections. PTP are next on the list even though the real reigns of power as it stands remains with the military elite. IMHO another coup is likely and coming soon. -
Thaksin Among Top 10 Billionaires In Thailand, Dhanin Heads List

There is one missing from the list that would come in well ahead of the pack at number one. -
MFP alleges govt embezzlement in RTN frigate procurement

Who would have thought. Kickbacks at the highest levels. I hope there's some good evidence. -
Big Joke still laughing: Royal Thai Police delay investigation
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
He'll be retiring somewhere overseas with a nice little nest egg and a bunch of money to stay stum. Charges are brought and go through the mock justice system and that will be that. It's very interesting this one. I just hope the military and pollies have lot's of stuff on them bubble to the surface. Top cops are corrupt but the military top echelon are a grade above. -
Big Joke still laughing: Royal Thai Police delay investigation

Rather generous of you. Put a decimal point between the 1 and the 5 and that would be more like it IMO. -

“Kaeng tai pla” rated the worst dish in the world by TasteAtlas
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The world's worst dish! Well this is just nonsense. Is this the level of articles that AsianNow are going to keep subjecting us too? I'm only speaking for myself but who else is interested in this rubbish? Bit like it's going to be hot tomorrow. -
NACC probes “tea money” demands to get children into Khon Kaen schools
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Just another very, very, very, small tip of a very, very, very big corrupt iceberg. School directors are as bent as the rest who are in a position to be corrupt. Rotten from top to bottom and everyone knows this. Changing it is the big challenge. The next coup (on the near horizon IMO) might once and for all sort it out. The military won't succeed in another coup. The people have had enough. -
Thailand plans to extend minimum wage increases to more regions
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Absurd. You do it for everyone or you don't do it at all. Not just to the selected but to everyone. One could think only those sectors with large kickbacks will be considered. -

Thai health pushes for alcohol-free Songkran celebrations
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Thai health pushes for alcohol-free Songkran celebration Delusional Thai health pushes for alcohol-free Songkran celebrations Sad thing is the minority elite conservative wowsers have a lot of influence aka money and power. Alcohol free Sonkran is of course just insanity raising it's head. As for the Thaiger GPT article it's a waste of electricity. I would like to see the questionnaire that came up with the results shown. Complete nonsense. This is just complete rubbish not even closely related to reality. More junk from The Thaiger GPT. -
Sadly this country is bent from the very top. It is wat it is. This is why Thailand will always linger on the 3rd World boundary. The military and the elite hold the country in their corrupt hands and will keep their money and power by all means at their disposal. There is only one way to change this but will it happen.

I remember once in Adelaide it was 48°C in the shade. I put a thermometer in the sun. It wasn't good for it. Maybe 60°C ish in the sun.

Court Accepts Petition, Seeking MFP Dissolution
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Court Accepts Petition, Seeking MFP Dissolution Prayut's Junta's Court Accepts Petition, Seeking MFP Dissolution No suprise here as with the already concluded outcome. The military/elite will not give up their wealth, corruption and power. If you do not support the military/elite you are not allowed to take govt. Srettha and Thaksin are well in the firing line. IMHO I think another coup is in the making. -
Ah! Come on it's the tropics no such thing as summer and it's 3 seasons. HOT/HOTTER/HOTTEST. Add some intense humidity, some storms and occassional cool/cold days for good measure. TIT.

Health Ministry warns against eating geckos for sexual benefits
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Lizards are eaten all over Thailand. Cooked. Not Geckos though. Complete waste of time warning from the empty heads. Idiots want to eat geckos thinking they'll get a hardon, let them chomp away. The Lao Khao will kill them before the geckos will. True finger food. BBQ not bad at all. Goong Kayote. I've had better I think than this looks like but it's tasty and quite something else. There are also health concerns regarding parasites. Don't worry about lead in the pencil with this one just enjoy and if you're with a Thai big brownie points..
