  1. Bastard yes. Greedy no. I belive that's 3-nil. Bastard can be a term of endearment in Aus. You're a handsome bastard. You lucky bastard. Etc. ????
  2. Ah! So everyone in Australia (yep I'm an Aussie) is wealthy, powerful and greedy as such so am I. Best to take a little more thought and time with your comments.
  3. Do you mean survival of the richest maybe? Survival of the most corrupt maybe? I don't think this has anything to do with nature. Just greed.
  4. Complete rubbish. It's called wealth, power and greed.
  5. More populist policies? Where does the money come from? Smokers and drinkers coming soon it'll be time to shell out more. This will be the 1st tax target IMO. Apart from this the Govt will have to borrow money. Just more amateur pigs at the trough working out how to fill their own pockets whilst looking like their doing something for those struggling day by day which is the majority of the population..
  6. Thais will not forget what happened. PT is finished at the next election. Alas things will once again be manipulated so MFP cannot gain power even if they get more than 50% of the vote. The military and ....... will not allow it. On the other if the ....... has changed by then things might be different and Thailand will be able to grow out of a 3rd world (developing?) country . Only when there is change at the ........ can things change in Thailand otherwise the minority ruling royalist/military/conservatives will remain in power by what ever means.
  7. Sorry no appropriate emoji for this. Not sure if you're being sarcastic or believe this. I hope it's the former.
  8. Doesn't matter what political system, there will always be a divide. Capitalism, level playing field and trickle down effect is just a crock. The entire global economic system is designed to keep the poor poor and now to force more middle class people in the same direction. Greed is rife. Corruption is rife. Appeasement of share holders is rife. Massive payouts for CEO's and failed CEO's is rife. It's out of control. More wars, more coups it's all made to force us into subserviance. Next is the digital cashless society and more forced vaccinations.
  9. Excellent idea. I'm sure all those pooches that get dressed up by their stupid owners will appreciate the airconditioning.
  10. Corruption. Court of Law. Same bed IMO. Who has the most money and power behind them will win. Right and wrong is not part of it.
  11. Yep. Well said. The entire country is filthy with corruption from the top to the bottom and every Thai person knows this. Those who profit from it love it and those who suffer from it hate it. Anyone in Thailand who has the position and power to be corrupt is corrupt.
  12. 3 yrs and won't serve it for the killing of a person. Ex PM Prayut dissapeared people. Thaksin guilty of ordering extrajudicial killings. Shiny new buildings sure. 3rd world absolutelty.
  13. I've played many a game of Hi-Lo with the BIB. Gabmbling is rife in Thailand what ever you define gabling as. Every village in Thailand at any time of the day will have a cards game going on. Might only be low stakes but it happens and it's illegal. Not sure what this has to do with the endemic corruption in the the BIB from the massive corruption at the highest levels to the low level corruption at the lowest levels. By the way talking about high level corruption (and criminal activity beyond corruption) in the BIB, what ever happened to 'Joe Farrari'?
  14. Yes. Prayut did. Compared to the backhanders, Prayut's and Srettha's salary were and are small change. It's not a "Decent gesture." It's populist grandstaning.
  15. The true wet season has arrived. Very late this year. Warnings like this have been running for months and basically did not come to pass. Now it's pretty much a given. I wonder how long the wet season will run for? Into November? December? Have to wait and see but it has come late this year. Just outside of BKK and had the 1st real wet season storm Tuesday night. Lasted a good couple of hours.
  16. To stop corruption which is endemic and a way of life in Thailand it must start at the top. It will not happen at the top so corruption will continue down the ladder. I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to say every school director is corrupt to a certain extent. For one, directors pay for their position and will immidiately start on recouping this cost.
  17. It is interesting you say this when you say if only a few die from covid they are still people. How many have been injured or died, albeit a small %, from MRnA vaccines? It was very rare to die from covid % wise per global population when it was Delta. Now with Omicron even rarer. The cost benefit analysis of being vaccinated against being unvaccinated is most certainly up for debate. The risks of dying from Omicron is .... well just look at global deaths. Not sure how many zeros would go after 0.000.....before the 1. Something like 0.0000000001%. I'm thinking many, many more zeros. Don't know but what I know is for a person that is not at risk the chances of dying from Omicron are absolutely miniscule. Sep 15, 205 deaths in a global population of 8,000,000,000. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ Thailand two in one week and we're not told if this is from or with covid and no mention of comorbidities. You can't deny these facts.
  18. I guess this really spells it out. It's absolutely minimal in a population of around 70,000,000. I'm not sure how many times I've been infected. Felt pretty bad for a couple of days on occasions. Covid? Who knows. If it was then my immunity got boosted. I have some comorbidities but I'm not concerned. Haven't worn a mask for at least 18 months and even then it was because I had to. Had a couple of AZ jabs when it kicked off but will never be jabbed again.Tetanus/rabbies etc if needed but no MRnA. Increase of 10.4%. Increase of 6%. 2 people died was that an increase of 100%. Maybe a decrease of 100%. Maybe a 200% decrease. Complete nonsence percentages.
  19. Ok. Fair enough. If you've had your covid vaccine and somehow get covid, you can't give it to someone else. If you believe this then nothing will change your mind.
  20. Yes vaccines can stop transmission this is why many viruses are now pretty much extinct or at very low levels. Polio for example. Other vaccines will not stop the spread of a virus. Flu and Covid are examples of this. By the way when it comes to "Learn to speak English", I think .... "I've had with these weasel words that claim that if it doesn't stop every infection that it means it doesn't stop infections.", is a good example.
  21. Ok. There you go. You believe the CDC and WHO. I don't. Remember this whole thing was helped along by the WHO. WHO: "There is no pandemic. International travel can continue." Do you remember? CDC: "Vaccines are safe and stop transmission." Remember this? As for the medical community this has now been shown to be split. Those in the pockets of big pharma and subserviant to the narrarative and those who aren't.
  22. https://ourworldindata.org/covid-cases The rest of the world is pretty much the same.
  23. Antivax misinformation? You seem to be a bit behind the times. i suggest a bit of reasearch on your part.
  24. Interesting point. How many of those 30% died from Covid?
