  1. There's no possible way anyone cannot think cover-up and blame shifting to this statement. No way.
  2. Negotiate. Military equipment sure but how about starting with vehicles and alcohol. Trump is doing what he does and that's to force people's hands.
  3. That maybe so but reputation alone is not proof of guilt.
  4. The bloke is now a full on Christian nutter. Not a fan but I'm not a guilty until proven innocent type unlike some of the above posters. To me it smells of a "me too" thing.
  5. Higher I said. Can you not read? As for the rest of your cut and paste response it needs to be sourced.
  6. Topping off means it's structurally complete. You can actually see cladding on the building and there were workers inside working on things when it collapsed so I've got no idea what you're saying.
  7. Maybe you should give Zelensky a call and tell him to stop using Starlink. Of course as it is Space X is covering the cost.
  8. I've seen that currency manipulation was also part of Trump targeting countries with higher tariffs. He specifically pointed out China.
  9. What you really need is attention that's why you continue to make useless threads. I guess Bob's not doing it anymore so now it's Don and if I'm not mistaken BLMFem.
  10. You're wrong that's why no-one's talking about it. The building was topped off a year ago. What was there should have survived. It was structurally complete.
  11. Surely finding billions in government waste IS helping America.
  12. MDS on show here again. There was a time when Musk was the darling of the left with his "environment friendly" cars. Now he's a racist and a fascist. The interesting thing of course is Musk himself said "I didn't leave the left. The left left me" an opinion which would be echoed by millions and was evidenced in the election.
  13. The soil is one of the reasons. Build quality was the primary reason.
  14. I went to the official site. All in Thai. Has English language option but doesn't work. https://www.nso.go.th/nsoweb/main/summano/aE?set_lang=en
  15. No inadvertently about it. That's exactly what DEI does or did in the case of the US. If you're white and male you're bottom of the list.
  16. NYSE open. https://www.moneycontrol.com/us-markets/
  17. You're obviously baiting but here's some info. High tariffs in many sectors continue to hinder access to the Thai market for many U.S. products. The highest ad valorem tariff rates apply to imports competing with locally produced goods, including automobiles and automotive parts, motorcycles, beef, pork, poultry, tea, tobacco, flowers, beer and spirits, and textiles and apparel. Wine imports are subject to a 54 percent tariff and six different taxes; taken together, the effective duty and tax burden is nearly 400 percent. Industry has raised concerns about the import tariffs on wine and disparate ad valorem taxes that appear to favor domestic white liquor. https://www.trade.gov/country-commercial-guides/thailand-import-tariffs Edit: Snap. Sorry @johng just saw your post after posting this. What this doesn't show is the 300% on vehicles.
  18. It's not even reciprocal as such and countries have the chance to reduce their tariffs on US goods to negotiate a reduction on the initial tariffs Trump's set.
  19. Time for a bit of a re-set. Protectionist tariffs will need to be reduced.
