  1. Problem is after you go through customs or in transit.
  2. We are talking about airports in Thailand aren't we?. Get through immigration and there are thousands of places you can go for smoke?
  3. Try vaping. Did it for me. I know vaping still isn't good but it's a damn side better than cigarettes. I'm around 9 mnths without a cig. Fancy one every now and again and I'm guessing I always will.
  4. Farang????????? Asians are way bigger smokers.
  5. AKA smokers. @BangkokReady beat me to it. As for global trends, Changi airport, one of if not the best airport in the world has enclosed airconditioned smoking rooms and designated outside smoking areas. Indeed there are 18 places you can go and have a smoke.
  6. Correct. It's an opening shot but unfortunately those with the "syndrome that cannot be named" have no idea about Trump's negotiation modus operandi. Only thought in the radical liberal left's head is TRUMP BAD.
  7. A comment truly worthy of the intellect displayed by the liberal left on this forum. Keep up the good work.
  8. I think it's just another piece of Trump being Trump. I remember the flood of negative comments when Trump talked about taking over the Panama Canal due to Chinese interference and low and behold the Panamanian President announces that Panama is going to pull out the Belt and Road Initiative. It is also worth noting that Trump has not committed to US boots on the ground in Gaza and that this is not a permanent relocation. Let's face it if October 7 did not happen there would be no need for the demolition site of Gaza needing to be rebuilt. Also keep in mind that the devastation of Gaza is due to Hamas using the people of Gaza as human shields and that the billions of foreign funding was used by Hamas, a terrorist organization, to build an extensive tunnel system purely for the reason of raising jihad and not used to develop Gaza for the benefit of the Palestinians. This proposition by Trump is about rebuilding Gaza with the assistance of neighbouring Middle East countries NOT making Gaza a US territory.
  9. I think you'll find neither Canada nor Mexico are super powers either. What's your point? Trump is getting his way and your just butt hurt about it.
  10. Sadly logic doesn't apply to those who are afflicted with the "syndrome that cannot be named". There are some in this world that will argue black is white and white is black and believe they are right. They'll say this also isn't a win for Trump. Colombia yields on US deportation flights to avert trade war A looming trade war between the US and Colombia appears to have been averted after the Colombian government agreed to allow US military flights carrying deported migrants to land in the Andean country. The spat erupted on Sunday when President Gustavo Petro barred two military planes carrying Colombians deported from the US from landing. The Trump administration responded by threatening to slap punitive tariffs on Colombian exports to the US. President Petro at first said Colombia would retaliate by imposing tariffs on US goods, but the White House later announced that Colombia had agreed to accept migrants - including those arriving on US military aircraft - "without limitation or delay". https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c20p36e62gyo
  11. Fools and their money. Flagship phones aren't flagship phones for long but some people just need the new one for some reason. Show off would be high on the list I reckon.
  12. You seem to have forgotten very quickly that the previous President of the United States was most definitely unfit for office. Fortunately the voting public knew this to be the case with Harris and voted Trump in.
  13. Does this include the black male vote? Indian Americans? Muslims? Jews? Asians? Working class?
  14. Interesting article being that JFK Jnr. has passed this session (albeit slimly with a 14-13 vote) and now moves to the full Senate vote. A fact that the bashers and sufferers of "that which cannot be named syndrome" have failed to mention. Big Pharma, Big Food and Big Ag really do not want this man in.
  15. People’s Party wins key Lamphun election victory. Article is not about the other provincial elections. It's about Lamphun. The headline is a bit of a giveaway IMO. This is the only mention of the POA elections that were held in Thailand. 12 out of 238 words. Not exactly what I'd call the key topic of the article.
  16. You seem not to understand the context. It's significant in that he "defeated Anusorn Wongwan, a four-time veteran from the ruling Pheu Thai Party". The article is about the Lamphun provincial election not Thailand's provincial elections as a whole.
  17. The funniest/disturbing thing I've heard/seen is that people who have entered the USA illegally haven't done anything illegal. They aren't criminals. You just can't make this degree of idiocy up.
  18. Well does it really matter one way or the other? The Biden administration opened the borders and not only that but were flying them in and saying that the numbers of illegal crossings had reduced substantially. There was even an app. How can anyone with an ounce of common sense defend what happened?
  19. Alas this will not be enough to convince the loony lefties on here. Even what the president of Mexico says and the PM of Canada says won't be enough. Trump bad. The "that which cannot be named syndrome" is strong. At first I thought this was just a meme but I've become more and more convinced it's an actual disorder.
  20. I've seen lots of Trump caving in comments. I don't get it. How is threatening tariffs and then putting them on hold for 30 days after both countries have said they will do more and wait to see if they keep to their word caving in? It's a nonsensical argument.
  21. The "stick" part of "carrot and stick" seems to be working.
  22. Trump pauses tariffs on Canada for at least 30 days, Trudeau says Trudeau in his tweet said, “I just had a good call with President Trump,” and suggested that the pause on tariffs was in response to Canada’s agreement to target the flow of the deadly opioid fentanyl across the border into the United States. Trudeau said Canada had made new commitments “to appoint a Fentanyl Czar,” among other measures. “Proposed tariffs will be paused for at least 30 days while we work together,” Trudeau wrote. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/02/03/trump-canada-tariffs-trudeau.html https://www.cnbc.com/2025/02/03/trump-canada-tariffs-trudeau.html
  23. Australian Securities Exchange. BTW how about supporting this with a source or two.
