You are correct most countries have legislation preventing the disclosure of information. I rightly have to go through a rigorous check list if I ring my pension fund in Australia. I rang my Aus bank recently and was on speaker they heard my wife and said she had to leave the room while they spoke to me. What I find interesting is that this ETA is going to be issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs not Immigration which gives some hope that it will be done efficiently I have observed over the years that they are very efficient in issuing Thai passports with minimal documentation required, the passport is received in three days and at half the cost of what I pay for my Australian passport. During Covid they were responsible for issuing the Health rentry document which I easily obtained within a few hours online.

I have a friend whose wife requires some outpatient treatment at the Government Hospital Mai Rim for about a month. As they live about 150 kms away looking for something like one bedroom accommodation with cooking facilities. Looking for ideas how to locate. Thanks
