  1. I am nor sure but seen 2K fine and very unlucky if caught but it depends on how large the amounts and for most of us can claim allowances of 500 or 560K and more than our income and have been stated several times that I do not need to file!!!
  2. Agree 100% oldcpu and noticed this too and back to wait and see or yet another visit to my local revenue office but been up there so many times and no you do not need to file and in any case we won't grant a Tin as you have no employment here in Thailand I did say got a pink ID and possibly (not sure) can use this but lie low for the minute but might go up next week!!
  3. Now some stating can use 2023 forms as at the top of it there is no date but again been told do not have to fill in a form under my circumstances my income is below the 500 or 560K threashold and also asked do I work here and can not get a tin without it nut got a pink id card
  4. The point is and seeing other posts those who have been told you do not need to file but one can not do online unless one has an in line number and can not access it otherwise?
  5. Ni forms and this Carl Turner suggest you try the Revenue Errr they have none available yet again!!!
  6. OJAS thanks for your support and yes I like to think contribute a lot and yes got Carl Turner giving me grief and yes there are sites updated but unfortunately only in Thai ie www.rd.go.th/272.html www.rd.go.th/65971.html in Thai 2024 only www.rd.go.th/english/65308.html Sorry if misspelt on the sites ok in Thai only and on
  7. Thank you Mutt and thought for a minute as it came out in English but can see the forms but no way convert to English as far as I can see!! Any ideas anyone apart from getting a Thai to convert Yes, looked at the general rd site and yes can see the Income Exemption Entitlement form but do not work here in Thailand but as salaries and pensions in top box ? Many people are going to lie low and in my personal circumstances my local Revenue office in Kanchanaburi have consistently stated to me that as I do not work here and my Income Exemption Entitlement is higher I do not need to file a form. Yes indeed they knew and I know about being here for 180 days but yes at first it appears we have to file but there is a clause and stating if your allowances are lower than income coming in to Thailand you do not file.
  8. Agree but not easy if one has a Thai family and of course they make absolutely no allowance for this and when these tax experts are asked a simple question they do not but have you signed up and all about money, as usual.
  9. What about the neighbours who know you exist and yeah there are plenty of gossip mongers???
  10. Shock horrow see Themis Partners trying to charge 400Baht fir downloads of forms and surely these should be readily available and none at the Revenue and any ideas anyone, please
  11. No none other than Carl and the local Revenue office and they do not know much more as far as when these forms come out and no did not pay for your information.
  12. Ok fair dues but just thought it a coincidence as total present allowances is either 500 or 560K Baht
