This is actually quite true. People often go on about the police like they're the ones who are letting the Thai people down, but it's fairly clear that Thais are fairly supportive of their hands off approach. Thais seem to break the rules all the time, and support weak enforcement while criticising heavy handed enforcement.

Sadly there's no limit to the level some trolls will sink to, even defending reckless drivers.

I understand it perfectly. You appear to not understand, and, in my opinion, appear to be showing bias against a foreigner and in favour of a Thai, since it seems like the Thai is in the wrong. As you do in your earlier comments. Hence I asked whether you would have any insult for the Thai, once you found out that he not only started it, but had friends with him, used a weapon, and called for armed backup. Otherwise, it comes across that you are raging against a foreign person simply for the fact that they are foreign.

He could have gone there to confront her with the item, then become enraged upon seeing her and then made the decision to attack. Likewise with the knife, he could have had it for another reason, then used it once his rage increased. Very hard to prove something is premeditated.
