  1. Why not Vietnam? Just the entry requirements? Personally, I'd rather spend a week in Saigon...
  2. OK, OK, I meant the whole package and a particular look. Obviously she looks very beautiful.
  3. Absolutely. And this relates to my point above. As much as people swear that an older man must be taking advantage of a younger woman due "power dynamics", more worldly people are aware of the fact that a cute young girl can have total control over an older guy with great ease. Sadly, some people simply deny basic truths where it goes against their anti-male narrative. ????‍♂️
  4. Do the dogs get poisoned every time they escape? Because that seems to suggest both the motivation and the solution.
  5. Yeah, the super skinny, ghostly pale skin (that looks weird because it's out of a bottle), the braces and the coloured lenses do not seem attractive to me. I remember hearing one girl call another girl "black" and I just thought "she only just darker than you and you have very brown skin". It's, interesting.
  6. Haha. You're not thinking enough. Change that. You're acting like I said there is! Pure fantasy on your part.
  7. I think this is the problem with many Western women (I know it's a little cliched to even complain about it), they are encouraged to believe that they don't need to actually do anything and just being them is what they bring to a relationship, while the man must meet a laundry list of requirements. A cute couple, and I'm sure both are happy with the arrangement. Yet I'm sure, sadly, many would object to it and try to pretend the man is doing something bad and the woman is a victim. I speculated on this in another thread. It could be a subconscious reaction that is something to do with ability to provide and support the woman through childbirth and childrearing. The reactions we have where we feel disgusted and shame people are often related to behaviour that is bad for the "tribe". So a lot of behaviour is stigmatised and considered immoral and when people see it they will make judgements and treat the person/people involved negatively. Another example I thought of is where a woman is very promiscuous and sleeps with many men. This would lead to a high chance of the women becoming pregnant and the "tribe" being left to care for the baby because the father is not there. Similarly if an older guy has a baby with a much younger woman, it is possible that she becomes pregnant and then the "tribe" is left looking after the baby again. It's funny, because I don't doubt for a second that women who are quick to say that they should be allowed to behave however they want, would be just as quick to make judgements and shame men for doing something that they disapprove of. I also imagine that they would try to rationalise it and say that wherever there is an age gap there is always predatory and exploitative behaviour. But really, women don't like men having options.
  8. What? I'm speculating on why the proprietor is more bothered by a foreigner stealing than a Thai. That's what I'm saying and that's what is going through my head. I have no idea why that is difficult for you to deal with. I see no reason why it is OK for Thais to steal in Thailand, if it is bad for foreigners to do so. That also has nothing to do with knowing right from wrong. It sounds an awful lot like you're saying we should expect that Thais will steal, but that should be below us as foreigners. A little bit "bigotry of low expectations". Nobody should steal. Said the person sharing his thoughts on the subject as though they mean something... ????
  9. What are the chances that he lost face and was embarrassed by the fact that he could not provide for his family, so used the accusation of cheating as an excuse to give her a bit of a beat-down to reassert his masculinity then went on to try to rape his neighbour to do the same?
  10. I think people will want to know his nationality and possibly why they cannot do it in Thailand.
  11. I agree, but also the Thais should not be stealing either. I wonder if, perhaps, because of "Thainess" they think that maybe the Thais are forced to steal because of poverty but that a foreigner must be rich so has no excuse.
  12. Proof-reading is always worth doing before hitting the "publish" button.
  13. Haha, yeah. Was it because she will never find a replacement who could live up to your standard, as you have ruined all other men in her eyes, or as long as she has enough money she just doesn't want the hassle and would rather be free to enjoy life? ????
  14. Looking back through the thread, I have to ask, is this girl actually confirmed as being "ugly" by Thai standards? Or are you just suggesting that this is the kind of girl that you think Thai men don't like?
  15. The same reason there isn't a thread somewhere with young Thai women discussing the practicalities and moral challenges surrounding entering into a relationship with a much older foreigner mainly for money... ...men are viewed as predatory and are seen to be taking something from women in relationships while their contributions are taken for granted and not valued.
  16. Are you saying that a person around your age would change diapers? Or is there some other factor that a non-age-gap relationship brings? Not saying I disagree, just seeking confirmation.
  17. I realise you're a bit annoyed that I've disagreed with some of your posts, but this "wanting to marry someone in their early twenties means you're a paedo" is a bit much. Have a little think about what you're saying.
  18. I never said there was a high number of them. You seem to have a slight problem in your understanding of most of what people are posting in this thread. I've noticed you read a post where someone says "X is possible" and you respond as though they are saying "X happens all the time, everyone wants X, X is the only thing". Im not sure what more I can say, other than take your time with the comments you read and try to think in a bit more of of neutral way. Hmmm... I don't think school girls have even been mentioned. I'm not young enough that a 20 year age-gap puts me with school girls. And, if I was, I'd probably still be looking for a twenty something, obviously. Sorry if that disappoints.
  19. I think the first two would probably need to be present for it to work, so perhaps men who do not meet them are not in the equation. I doubt that if everything was the same except the age, that an older guy would be preferable. Die before the wife is an interesting one. I think it's true that women are generally happier than men after having lost a partner. I'm not sure any man would be OK with the idea of his wife dying 10-20 years before him. He would probably end up quite isolated (if he didn't find someone new).
