  1. Trump is a master strategist. The tariffs scared people into negotiating, they are now paused while the negotiations take place. Unfortunately, people are so mentally damaged by the very existence of Trump, they are unable to process information in a normal way. They're so desperate for a "gotcha" moment, they cannot think rationally.
  2. Obviously Trump will be successful and China will cave. Trump is a master strategist and China is in the far weaker position.
  3. IT says "throat tightness" here. https://www.livestrong.com/article/520028-caffeine-and-throat-tightness/ Does that fit your symptoms?
  4. "Don't focus on what we're doing, look at this scary thing instead and let us get on with it."
  5. I guess it becomes an issue when there's a chance of a wider audience seeing it. 🤷‍♂️
  6. I was going to say, Mor Lam dancers at "family-friendly" events wear little clothing and shake their butts in exactly this way.
  7. Weird, as there is no car park visible in either picture. Do they mean "parked car"?
  8. Interesting idea, and I think they attempted this in a city called Pattaya. Will Thais be free to move in and out to extract money from the foreigners?
  9. That really depends on the country. Somewhere like Thailand is harder due to the race and culture being so different to the West. Possibly some truth in this, but the Thais don't exactly make it easy. No matter how long a foreigner lives in Thailand, they will be viewed as a complete outsider. They'll also find that there are many issues where a foreigner is immediately discriminated against. Even foreigners who speak fluent Thai, many still report not really feeling like they belong and being treated as a stranger.
  10. Although the exact definition varies by jurisdiction, in general manslaughter doesn't mean killing somebody by accident, it means killing someone without having planned it beforehand. So, if you just suddenly decide to kill someone and then instantly do it, it's manslaughter? That doesn't sound right. Generally, manslaughter means the death was unintentional or it was intentional with some sort of mitigating circumstances. Do you have a link that supports your claim?
  11. How much do Burmese labourers get paid that they can have a wife back home and a wife in Thailand, both with children?
  12. He tried to persuade the officers that had arrested him to release him, either based on his job and rank or money offered.
  13. JFC. I thought at first it was the ex-husband that was killed. The victim is just a kind old man that gave a sick disabled woman a lift somewhere and then chilled out in a hammock. What an absolute animal the murderer is.
  14. I'd believe you if they didn't seem to wear them more indoors than out. And I meant generally, rather than specifically in a hospital.
  15. Christ. No wonder half of them are still wearing "covid masks".
  16. It seems that it is either used as a drug, an aerosol propellant, or to make combustion engines go faster. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrous_oxide
  17. Now China? Did you ever pick up a history book, or even watch the news?
  18. She always knows exactly what to say... 🤡
  19. He means a rise in the prices of smaller homes that some might consider safer, like houses and apartment buildings a couple of floors high.
  20. How do they know that he is a tourist?
  21. The article is about these self-style "paedophile hunters" and the bad things that they have done, such as breaking the law themselves or targeting innocent people. This is worthy of highlighting. They might think/claim that they are doing a good thing, but they are likely only doing it for their own benefit and don't care about who gets harmed. And in case you're going to respond as such, no it is not OK for innocent people to have their lives ruined if it means it might save some others.
