  1. Yes, my Dad worked on a farm and we ate rabbit, hare and wood pigeon I mentioned this to my Thai partner, she turned up her nose, I said what do Thai people eat, rat, road kill, what’s the difference.
  2. I have seen wood pigeon breasts on the menu in U.K. restaurants, tbh they are very nice, you need 2 though.
  3. I used Thailand Post to send documents to the U.K., arrived ok,, the Post Office give you a tracking number. I would advise always to send track and trace as i was sent stuff before and I never received them.
  4. Correct the agent have an an agreement so they collect your passport, only issue I would think is it might get lost in the post when sending to Key Visa and possibly when they send the new one.
  5. Not collapsed just loads of customers.
  6. Key Visa can do it via post,
  7. I think it’s because the money has to be in GBP so there is no issues with fluctuating exchange rates of different currencies.
  8. No idea as I used my own, the owner was a U.K. citizen so I assume he had one, the business is still ongoing but I believe being run by his partner, you would need to enquire with them.
  9. Call them or send them an email.
  10. Key Visa can renew your passport irrespective of where you live in Thailand. https://www.keyvisathailand.com/services/renewing-uk-passport-thailand/
  11. The agent I used to renew my sons said they would use their credit card if you didn’t have one and you paid them the cash. I suppose you could use a friends or relatives cards and give them the cash ?
  12. A friend countersigned it here in Thailand, he is retired and living here.
  13. Key Visa in Pattaya can do it, you don’t need to visit the office all done by post.
  14. One on Klang near the traffic lights at 3rd road, recognisable by the 2 round holes in the window, they take test through holes, amazing how they cut the holes in a shop window with breaking the whole window, can’t have been toughened glass.
  15. The bill isn’t going to go through Parliament before the election, the consensus of opinion no matter who wins it will be watered down making cannabis only legal for medical purposes but how they would enforce that we don’t know.
  16. Ban the sale of water pistols, jail if caught using one, ban standing in a truck with a barrel full of ice, water, jail if caught and alcohol ban for a week, dream on !
  17. From what I know the girls in the office do all the leg work, I believe one has worked there for 15 years.
  18. Off topic, VFS Global require a DNA Test for child’s first Passport, I did our sons first Passport at VFS Global and a DNA Test wasn’t required ?
  19. Why do you need proof of address, when I renewed my sons here we didn’t provide that ?
  20. I used Key Visa for our sons renewal, I live in Pattaya, no trips to Bangkok required, completed application form, 2 photos and Passport, plus the Passport renewal fee, separate payment form with details of debit card/credit card. I can’t remember what Key Visa fee was
  21. I never advocated not wearing a mask, just the quality.
  22. The science of the face mask might be 100% providing they were to the required standard, but how many sold in 7/11s etc would stop infections spreading, there was minimum standard applied to face masks sold in Thailand, as I said you might as well put a handkerchief over your face.
  23. I am not anti mask, I wore one when I was required to do so, I am on about the quality of the masks, the majority sold here in Thailand wouldn’t be effective against Covid, paper thin and not regulated by anyone. Did mask wearing stop the spread of Covid, it certainly didn’t in the U.K., we will never know if it did. anywhere on the globe. I could provide links from eminent people saying it didn’t, you could probably provide links by eminent people to say it did. Thailand was very liberal with the figures, it wasn’t because everyone wore masks, people were scared to get tested as in the early days they if fortunate were shipped off to a hospital or a converted warehouse. I am sure in the villages there would be no testing probably self isolation. In the early days yes we all wore masks but as far disinfecting ones hands prior to entering premises it was never observed by the majority.
  24. What’s a Doctor going to tell me, probably ask the school for my son to be exempt from wearing a mask. LBH it was never proved scientifically that masks stopped the spread of Covid more so the cheap and nasty cloth ones which the majority of people wear, might as well tie a handkerchief round your mouth.
