  1. Public Holidays 13th and the 14th.
  2. Why do people come to Thailand to ogle women on a pole and pay top dollar for beer that’s the relevance.
  3. If a party wins an overall majority might it be able to the constitution ?
  4. Can anyone change the constitution to get rid the of upper house of the 250 unelected senators who are ‘friends’ of the current PM .
  5. I can’t see it being busy on the 18/19th not unless you drive there to avoid the water.
  6. The online versions are easy enough you can enlarge them, try printing them out, reams and reams of pages.
  7. TBH have you ever tried to read the terms and conditions where the text is so small it’s barely readable a deliberate ploy I believe by the insurance companies so people can’t be bothered taking the time to read them.
  8. Maybe I am getting on in years but I can’t see the attraction of semi naked girls stood out side a bar selling their ‘wares’, well most are playing on their phones. Similarly agogo bars inflated drinks prices to watch a bored girl wriggling on a pole. In days gone by in the U.K. we used have strippers in the clubs generally on a Sunday afternoon, it used to be advertised as one for the boys. Cheap drinks and you didn’t have to pay them to perform either.
  9. I already suggested about her coming to the U.K.,he never said she had actually ever had visited the U.K., so she has no idea what it’s like. My Thai partner has been to the U.K. 3 times, the last visit ended up being stuck in the U.K. for over a year.due covid travel restrictions. She certainly wouldn’t want to live in the U.K. permanently.though. No reason a Spouse Visa can’t be applied for in the U.K. Idont think.
  10. As I said you have the additional costs of English Langauge test, X Ray confirming no TB, Bio metric fingerprinting plus the application fee. Has your girlfriend been to the U.K., if not how do you know she would want to live in the U.K. ? I would suggest coming to the U.K. on a Visitor Visa and sort things out when you are both in the U.K.
  11. What a ridiculous question, don’t you follow the Thai media, the Bhumjaithai Party led by Anutin has less than 2% of vote going by the opinion poles, in the last election legalising cannabis was the only item on his manifesto. If one of the big players in Thailand was involved with cannabis the same as vaping things would be different but none of them are interested.
  12. 71 million people live in Thailand, I think a large percentage of them have no interest in cannabis and it won’t influence how they vote. The Health minister who decriminalised cannabis has currently less than 2% of the vote.
  13. Advert on Facebook, HIGH ROLLERS SPORTS BAR & GENTLEMAN’S CLUB Soi Chaiyapoon, Pattaya Featuring more than 50 high class hostesses ? high class hostesses, new name for bar girls ?
  14. Don’t worry if cannabis does take off the big boys will move in and put the small growers out of business.
  15. Foreigners can’t do certain jobs that Thais can, honest answers can a Thai person not manage a bar ?
  16. I think you will find that the majority of cannabis is being imported and the people who thought they were going to make billions aren’t.
  17. I think you better stock up because all the parties apart from one are against full legalization of cannabis, it will be legal but for medical purposes only, the intention in the first place.
  18. Oops ! A colleague has just renewed his wife’s Spouse Visa in the U.K., the fees were just under £3k I believe. X Ray, English Language Test, Biometric Fingerprint plus the application fee. He is unemployed didn’t have the £62000 but they had an account with 3.5 million baht in a Thai Bank obviously which they had to show proof of.
  19. I have applied and been granted 3 Visitor Visas for my Thai partner, proof of earnings was never required. I sponsored her so I had show I had the funds to support her during her stay in the U.K.
  20. Currently not strictly legal the bill didn’t pass through Parliament before it was dissolved.
  21. If a visitor visa funds only need to show she or he can support her whilst in the U.K. no idea where you get that figure, ? Even applying for Spouse Visa only requires funds of just over £20k.
  22. The Night Wish Group own the majority of the bars on Soi 6, think around 25,
