I have often wondered in a country where the majority of the the people are barely on a living wage.but still running around in gas guzzlers ?

Just bought a car, cash, whilst looking for one every advert included finance whilst apparently cheap monthly repayments the interest rate was phenomenal. Looking at the cars history it looked like it had been a repossession from the previous owner by the bank.

By no means expert but looking at the walkways there is an inspection plate at the end of the travelator which must have come loose for some reason and dragged the unfortunate lady down the gap.

No we don’t turn it off to restart the condenser, it restarts itself, at 24c the room feels more cold than our bedroom which is also set at 24c I would find that uncomfortable if I was sleeping in his room.

The external AC Condenser for my sons bedroom keeps cutting out and the internal unit only blow warm air after 10 minutes the condenser restarts and starts blowing cold air again, I have the temperature set at 24c. We only recently had it serviced, my partner said.it has always does that, she was sleeping in his bedroom when he was sick and noticed it going from cold air to hot air ?

I was looking at cars, a fella foreigner mid 30s early 40s brought one to my house on Sunday, Full Service history, all the other paperwork all appeared ok, we would go to the Land Transport to change over on Tuesday. I then asked him how many keys, he said I lost the other one with a shrug of his shoulders, I thought about that then realised what happens if he still has the other key ? if a car is stolen insurance companies want to see 2 keys, I sent a message to say I was no longer interested, his partner Thai called me as well, I explained I require 2 keys not one.

Set one up on the interchange at Big C Extra on Pattaya Klang, they would rake in a fortune as people mostly motor bikes consistently run the lights. Then again how many of them are actually registered to a traceable address ?

Scam, I have done a bit of research, IDP can only be obtained in your country of residence.

This site no idea who they are issuing 1,2 and 3 year IDP, I think they are based in the States as the cost is in dollars but accept applicants world wide. They have acknowledged my email about an enquiry albeit it could be an computer generated reply. is it scam as IDP is only valid for 1 year ? https://internationaldrivingpermit.org/country/thailand/

Having read all the replies it looks like I would have to do the test, what would an agent do to assist me in getting a licence. The MG looks a very nice car, the only issue I read in a review was they leaked water through the door seals ?

I only ever use 4 wheel transport thanks.

The main reason is the price of airfares, until the flights have a few empty seats fares won’t come down. The high season if there is one will determine wether people have deserted Thailand.

For some reason the baht has been over 44 to the pound all week ?

I have been told it’s not the round board anymore for the colour test but a set of traffic lights, is it the same at Land Transport in Pattaya ? I would have no problem doing that test.

I have a valid U.K. Driving Licence, I failed the Thai Driving Test, I am partially colour blind so couldn’t distinguish the colours on the board from a distance, that kind of test isn’t mandatory for a U.K. Driving Licence although I can read a number plate at 20 metres the mandatory test in the U.K. I have no problem with traffic light colours. if I get an International Driving Permit can I get insurance and if so can I renew my IDP every year ?

The way I read everyone who applies for a first Child U.K. Passport through VFS in Thailand has to supply a DNA Test, £200 if you use VFS. A previous poster says this only applies from people from Laos but I can’t see where it says that ? I wonder if anyone has ever challenged VFS about having to supply a DNS Test ?

I agree but if you are in Thailand and use VFS they say it is ?
