To register for the booster you have to use LINE Pay.

I have been trying to set up a LINE Pay Account to pay for a booster jab, Bangkok Pattaya Hospital don’t accept Card or cash payments. When I tried to set an account up it was in Thai and it was asking for my ID Card number.

The U.K. has nearly 100000 Covid cases, mask wearing only mandatory in certain places, Thailand less than 6000, mask wearing mandatory, does that suggest wearing a mask reduces the risk of Covid infections albeit I struggle to agree with the number of positive cases of Covid in Thailand.

My special powers have observed many farangs every day in Big C and walking on Soi Bukhao during the day on more so on an evening with no masks, not BS !

There is an influx of farang tourists in Pattaya at the moment, the majority are not wearing masks even in the supermarkets etc. None of the staff appear to bothered or say anything although 7/11s near me will ask you to check your temperature and won’t let you enter with out a mask. I don’t think the farang tourists are aware it’s mandatory to wear a mask.

Harbor Mall on Pattaya Klang have play areas, I was in today but not sure they are open as no one using them.

I had 2 Pfizer Vaccinations in the UK, it’s more than 6 months since my second one, I have contacted a couple of private hospitals in Pattaya but they have informed me it will be January/February before any vaccines will be available even though I am willing to pay for it.

TAT and the government appear to think so.

So the quality tourists can have a glass of wine with their meal.

Copied from the article in The Pattaya News. There is no mention in the legal orders for opening about requiring food purchases with a drink, although this rule could vary from venue to venue and direction from local authorities.

I believe you can drink alcohol with out ordering food all the premises require is a restaurant licence and be SHA+ approved.

There is going to be an announcement later today, alcohol is going to be allowed to be sold in restaurants in Pattaya.

Covid apparently doesn’t spread at Music or Fireworks events with people eating drinking alcohol on the beach.

Can’t disagree but not in this day and age more so I can’t see many farang bar owners wanting their licence, refused, fined and possibly jailed.

I think if they did that certain bars probably farang owned ones would be targeted and raided and an example made of the owners to discourage others.

Kasikorn Bank has closed its large branch on Soi Bukhao as have several money exchange places.

Yet Thai Post haven’t delivered 2 letters from the UK posted months ago but I have quite a few items from China on Lazada.

Why are they breaking the law, if they entered Thailand legitimately I can’t see why, the Police haven’t put an arrest warrant out for them have they ?
