What’s illegal too ride on the road ?

In the UK people were told to self isolate some did some didn’t, you can’t just lock people up. I am sure loads of Thais have/had COVID but never got tested because of the threat of being put in a isolation unit.

I agree but up until recently you were hospitalised even if only asymptotic and not all insurance companies would be pay out for it.

If they stop hospitalising every one who tests positive there will be loads of beds !

No different from sober people cramming into local markets and supermarkets, sober or inebriated you can still pass the virus on.

If I remember rightly last year the Government said GDP for tourism was only 10% and the shortfall could be made up by promoting domestic tourism. I think 21% of GDP plus another 10% in the black economy is more likely.

Because the Government have got the majority of Thais s*** scared of Covid and now controlling them.telling them what they can do or not do.

Vaccinating kids won’t stop them getting Covid or spread as you quoted.

In the U.K. the number of Covid cases yesterday was 43000 and sadly 183 deaths, life is back too normal no curfews, no alcohol bans, the borders are open, kids at school and the vast majority of the population vaccinated. Vaccinations don’t prevent the spread of Covid, people still die from Covid even after having been vaccinated Thailand needs too realise and move on and open up. Covid won’t go away, there will be surges but knee jerk reactions of lockdowns doesn’t work, yes the case numbers are low but they never mention the number of tests they have carried out.

Thailand can’t delay forever, what happens if there is a spike, lockdowns and more misery ?

I am looking at buying an electric scooter, couple of options, a pushbike with an assisted electric motor or a small powered electric scooter, do I require a driving licence ?

Looking at the recent student protests the government don’t want the younger generation to be educated but they forget the power of social media and the internet.

100% agree kids out playing mixing with the other kids go out with their parents to the markets/supermarkets/beach etc, makes you wonder if some Thai parents or the government want an education for the kids.

We can’t keep the schools closed forever, Covid is not going away, they have too learn how too manage the schools. They have had since April but apparently nothing has been put in place how to organise for the kids too return, why are the Thais so scared of Covid. No doubt there will be a surge but that can’t be avoided and keeping kids at home for months on the end is not physically or mentally good, they need to interacting with other kids some thing some will doing at home with other kids.

Bar Girl, I don’t associate with Bar Girls, I know as I have been dealing with agents for years and using their services as most of my colleagues do. If there was anything illegal why would an agent promote their services on the internet.

You don’t need the financials but still have to go Immigration for a photograph, it’s all done locally, passport with visa returned the next day. By all accounts the agent makes very little from the fee the bulk going to immigration.

Over twice the price for an agent on Soi Bukhao and one in Soi 13/2.

The only bent agent was the Thai one who made his own Immigration Visa stamp which he was using for Myanmar, Cambodians etc

I think by investing the 800k you could more than cover the costs of an agent and still have access to your funds. 13/14000 for Extension in Pattaya at ‘reputable’ agents who have good connections with a bank and immigration.

It will go either of 2 ways, if there is surge they will press the panic button and close the schools down again or realise they have to get on with life and manage the situation.

Why is Covid not ripping through supermarkets local fresh markets etc, more people congregate in them than they do in bars. I haven’t read anywhere a supermarket has closed because Covid ripped through it.

I have a non smart TV, LG, it has a USB and a HDMI Port on it.

I bet there will be loads of kids who have uniforms and shoes like myself that don’t fit them anymore. Will Big C change 2 pairs of shoes which have never been worn with out a receipt, yes I can afford too buy new ones but plenty of Thai people won’t be able too more so if they have a couple of kids.

Does anyone believe these figures, no mention of how many tests conducted ?
