A re-entry permit only keeps the remainder of the permit to stay it is issued for valid when entering the country. It does not keep a visa valid.

If you got a re-entry permit for a 90 day entry it would expire on the same day the 90 days ends and you would be stamped into the country to that day.

Could I get an Extension of Stay/Retirement Visa on the new Single Entry 90 Day Non O ?

Or would be better too get a Single Entry Tourist Visa from Hull which I could change too a Non O in Thailand then an Extension of Stay/Retirement Visa.

  2. With the old Non O Multi Entry you could get nearly 15 months providing you entered Thailand a few day before it expired.

if I left Thailand and returned before the 90 Day Single Entry expired would I be able to get extra days with a re Entry Permit or would it be cancelled as soon as I left Thailand ?

The question is why they would remove the multiple non imm o from London though.

If we know the answer to that, we should be able to deduce if this plan is going to spread to other cities.

    Anyone know the reason?

Honestly, you have to be making mistakes in how your using the system. It has been issuing thousands of visas since February from China hence they have released it to the UK and France. The system is very easy to use. In fact, the hardest part is scanning your documents down to file size of 0.5MB or less.
Perhaps read the manual and it may help. I cannot see from here what your doing wrong so cannot help any further.

Rather than search through the multiple pages what were the places ?above places

You would need to show me where that option appears in the online system. As far as I can see there are no options for Non O regarding retirement, only O-A and O-X.

Maybe you should reconsider your comment on incorrect posts.

In the Non O section there is a section near the bottom stating if you are in receipt of the UK State Pension.

I heard that Hull in the UK are also no longer issuing one year multiple entry non O visas. I always used to go Birmingham when I was back there but that has now closed. Are there any other consulates in the UK that issue them?

Sent from my SM-A730F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

Hull haven’t been issuing Multi Entry for a couple of years at least.

My wife has been many times over the last 25 years.

Off the top of my head but there are many more.

    • Initial visa cost
    • proof of relationship
    • detailed information about the sponsor
    • Proof of adequate funds to live on
    • proof of address
    • not allowed to work
    • itinery for the holiday (sometimes)
    • medical care costs

The majority of those conditions apply in Thailand but once you have the Visa you don’t have jump through hoops and visit Immigration.

Look at the restrictions people have on a temporary (tourist type) visa when going to the UK then tell Thailand is worse (or more expensive)

What restrictions, my GF has been too the U.K. twice recently, she applied for Visa, I sponsored her. Arrived in the U.K. passed  through Border Control, no TM28/30, no 90 Day Reporting, left the U.K. with no need to pass through Border Control again.

I got that same visa for 125 quid just before they put it up to 150 quid. Also from London in March '19.

    It expires March 2020.

I'm in receipt of a STATE Pension.

Are you positive it's a Non - O. Mine is not.

What does it say under category?

    Passport states NON-IMM O, MULTIPLE..

Yes. Just back from there yesterday.

No problems on the Thai side but swarms of young Chinese clogging up Burmese immigration applying for some kind of visa. Had to shoulder my way to the front of a long queue to explain I was only doing a turnaround. Had I not done so would have been there over an hour instead of usual 5 minutes..

My current Non O Multi Entry expires on April the 4th 2020, if I leave in Match 2020 will I still get another 3 months from the date I re-enter Thailand ?

Easy really, get SE NON O from London (90 days), leave day before visa expires (you'd be leaving the same time anyway if you were on a ME NON O), go to the nearest Embassy outside of Thailand that's currently still issuing ME NON O, get the ME NON O, and utilize it for 15 months, thus effectively getting 18 months overall, admittedly you have paid for 2 visas, but you actually get a longer period of stay by 90 days

    Joe.

Yes but would they issue me one on me being in receipt of my U.K. Pension ?

I am retired and have been travelling to Chiang Mai twice a year for 10-12 weeks at a time, basically spending the winter months on holiday there and coming home to the UK for Christmas with my family. I spend the summer in my UK home. The 12 month Non-O multiple entry visa has been the perfect document. What do I do now? The single entry is only 60 days, and I don't have a permanent address in Thailand for a bank account and retirement visa. Any suggestions?

    It’s 90 Days Single Entry.

    No

They can still get a single entry non-o visa and apply an extension of stay based upon their spouses extension or OA visa entry.

I have a Non O Immigrant Multi Entry based on me being in receipt of my UK Pension from London which allows me 90 Days in Thailand.

Does it now mean I can only have a Single Entry then have too apply again when I go back too the UK every 90 Days at £150 ?

My current Non O Multi Entry expires on April the 4th 2020, if I leave in Match 2020 will I still get another 3 months from the date I re-enter Thailand ?

Should be filled out with the address you stay or go to when you arrive at the airport.

They occasionally check this with you and if the tm30 not the same with the actual arrival report in the tm6 you have to provide a good reason why not. Good reason why is accepted. Report Thai home addres and stay at hotel you have to explain why. I my case it was not a problem

Your address in not shown on the stub of the TM6 and the data base at the airport is not linked to the Immigration Offices, that’s why a TM28/30 has to be done.

I'm pretty sure they don't care...

Just put down any address you want ????

who is going to check that ? ? ?

They just want a name of any hotel on the paper. 1 Time i did not give a name on the paper, they stopped me and said i need to fill in a hotel. I said i didn't know yet what hotel i was going to stay in.

No problem he said. Just give a name.

I don’t believe they actually input your address, they don’t have the time. they for me only check that the details in the magnetic strip are the same as the details on the main page plus that you are not ‘flagged up’ on the system.

  15. We went through BKK a few weeks ago, the Thai Line was only for Thais with an E Passport, my Thai partner who doesn’t have an E Passport had too stand with me in the Farang line.

On the way back there was a line for Thais with a non E Passport, I went through that gate with her.

Before the E Passports were introduced I always went though the Thai line with her.

I have a 30 years lease on my land...registered to the Land office....I have the original chanote with me ! i have make a contract...that if the owner want the land back in 30 years he will need to pay me the house I built on it

In Thailand...Land is not yours...BUT the building on is yours..

So when you buy the lease what are you buying and if the landowner decides he wants too redevelop the land your house is on your house would be worthless/unsaleable ?

If you pay rent up front you have no leverage when it comes to getting repairs done by the landlord.

Hard enough to get a landlord to fix a leaky roof on a month-to-month contract.

I would have thought as a leaseholder the owner would responsible

    for any repair.

i am a leaseholder in the U.K. of an Apartment, the leaseholders are responsible for all repairs including redecoration.
