  1. He hasn’t said that, and your comment is unfair; he has indicated that some negotiations might be happening that are not in the public domain, albeit through third parties like Qatar; you would do well to remember that they are trying to save the lives and secure the release of over 200 hostages. I hope you don’t need the alternative explained.
  2. Complete and utter nonsense; any phobia is an irrational and unreasonable fear of something, and there is nothing whatsoever that is irrational in a fear of Islam.
  3. define Islamophobia .. if you can; oh, I forgot you've got me on ignore; but if you see this, you need to be very careful about believing anything Thorgal says
  4. define Islamophobic .. if you can
  5. Can't you read, it is not calling Islam stupid, it is calling anyone that does not see the link between the terrorist atrocities mentioned and Islam stupid .... learn to read
  6. I don’t often post links but this is an excellent article by Daniel Greenfield written a couple of weeks ago “It’s Islam, Stupid” https://www.frontpagemag.com/its-islam-stupid/
  7. Difficult to know for sure without an election for many years, but wouldn't say a minority with any confidence. In a survey carried out by Palestinian pollster Khalil Shikaki in June this year, 79% of Gazans and 71% of all Palestinians, polled in favour of forming more armed gangs like the “Lions Den” and “Jenin Battalion” to attack Israel.
  8. Well, it seems to value their lives more than their government, Hamas, do; although in fairness that is not saying a great deal.
  9. Indeed, it was ever thus. However, I think Qatar are now coming under some external pressure, from sources that they know they need to take notice of, to distance themselves from Hamas, or at least be seen to be so doing. Turkey is their other hideaway.
  10. I don’t think it’s possible for anyone to write a comment and show less understanding about the many complexities of this war …… but I’m sure you will give it your best shot.
  11. Indeed, the Penthouse suites in Doha are understandably not a priority at the present time, and I am sure Ismail Haniyeh and his fawning underlings will soon move from there; however, they are on borrowed time, there will eventually be no hiding place.
  12. Good comment, and although you say it may not be the best solution, from the viewpoint of minimising the death toll on both sides, I haven’t heard a better one. Viability a different matter; I think the homicidal maniacs of Hamas will want to martyr themselves to the last man, and given the inhuman barbarity of the 7th October, the IDF might well be willing to oblige, which doesn’t bode well for the hostages I’m afraid to say.
  13. Heartbreaking .... beyond description what these Hamas terrorists did.
  14. Well quite obviously plenty, if one of the Houthi’s Iranian made rockets fired from Yemen got extremely lucky / unlucky
  15. Indeed, about as useful as the UN and the WHO; China, India, the US, Russia, and Israel are not ratified members, and Hamas obviously can’t be, so I have no idea why anyone bothers to mention the ICC in relation to this war.
  16. Incorrect, please try reading more carefully. This is the first part of the comment I was replying to: “Even the ICC and the UN still need to complete gathering evidence” I replied with a comment about the UN. If you look very carefully you will see the UN mentioned, and I replied with my assessment of the UN.
  17. The UN have become a pointless organisation; they gather all their evidence (from Gaza) directly from Hamas, accepting whatever Hamas tells them as factual.
  18. The only part of your entire comment that has any value.
  19. I hadn’t noticed it before, but you’re right; in every single exchange he has with any other poster, he has to have the last word. It’s as if in his delusion, it somehow makes him believe he has won the argument.
  20. Well, unfortunately for you, it was your good self that started this by trying to be smart and embarrass another poster; now you’ve been shot with your own gun you don’t like it. Always a bad idea to lead with your chin, if you’ve got a glass jaw.
  21. Ha ha ha ha … now you’re fumbling around in abject embarrassment at your error; trying to deflect and apply some retrospective logic to making a fool of yourself. It’s only 07.20 and you’ve made my day already … many thanks, keep it up.
  22. Ha ha .. classic; you think you’re being smart correcting a spelling mistake by someone, and you get it wrong ….. ha ha ha ha
  23. Oh, and in the Guardian as well. Great story; antisemite Craig Mokhiber resigns from anti-Israeli UN for them not being anti-Israeli enough for his liking. This would be the same UN that appointed Ali Bahreini, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to serve as chairman of the UN Human Rights Council’s 2023 Social Forum, causing outrage in Human rights organisations throughout the world; something Craig didn’t seem to have a problem with, despite the Iranian government having slaughtered thousands of its own people recently, mostly women, for either not wearing their hijab correctly, or for being raped. The UN are a pointless dinosaur, similar to the odious, corrupt, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at the WHO; both organisations in the pocket of China, and staffed by a worthless cartel of freeloaders.
