Purdey replied to snoop1130's topic in Central Thailand News
Two wives, one husband? And they are worried he has a third? Is this normal? -

Reporting the last 5 days is meant to show that you really changed America or what? What does a 5-day report actually do to help understand one's job? -
Thailand Faces Backlash Over Secret Uyghur Deportation to China
Purdey replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Seems that a government should not hide what it is legally allowed to do - unless the government knows that it is sending people to their deaths. Now, the cat is out of the bag. Shame.- 160 replies

Bangkok Furious Over Cruise Ship Dumping Trash in River - video
Purdey replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Rivers are seen as a toilet for many Thais. Vietnam no better. I don't believe they even knew they were doing wrong. -
Thoughts and prayers. Vaccines don't kill people, people kill people.

Why does every discussion end in name calling on AN? -
America entered a long war in Vietnam because it feared the domino effect of Asia becoming Communist. Thailand was its red line. Now, the west sees that Russia wants to own its former East European colonies and America wants to appease Russia. Ukraine was the red line, now it's like a buffet of eat all you can. I worry that we are underestimating Russia.

Thailand Dismisses Claims of 94% Drop in Chinese Tourists
Purdey replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
When I first came to Thailand, the Communist insurgency caused people to worry about going into the countryside. Tourists were worried about going into rural areas. Some here assuming he is already guilty. Let the legal system take its course. If there is hard evidence, show it by all means. -
I don't think the Democratic Party wants to have everlasting wars, but they see the point of having the Ukraine as a buffer to curb Russia's expansionism. Should Putin not be deterred, he becomes a serious threat to Europe. As the US and EU have the largest bilateral trade and investment relationship in the world, the US economy would be negatively impacted.

Where to keep saving safely when the government is determined to create more debtors? Banks interest so low it is no longer a place to keep money. Stock Exchange still poor. -
Dan Bongino’s Appointment Signals Kash Patel’s Vision for the FBI
Purdey replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Funny that the FBI is corrupt but not the NY Police department. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) experienced corruption scandals in the 1990s, including the Dirty Thirty and the conviction of Harry Gross. -
