    I had my documents translated and certified in one of the ground floor offices in the Trendy Building, VFS visa place. Done in 2 hours.

    Another example of the Thai so called justice systems complete disregard for the victim and victims family. It's not what you know but who you know. No doubt the usual bundle is safely in the accounts of those responsible for such a decision.

    The Thai hi so are all connected to the Burmese butchers that's why they are 'neutral' because they are considered to be brother's, very sadly the Thai penchant for sitting on the sidelines is well documented. No stomach for standing up to the illegal surpressors of democracy.

    It is my understanding that the Thai revenue department have a tax office in the local Amphur offices, usually in the same building as the one that issues ID cards, in my experience.

    I've been checking the dates now for along time as I inadvertently once bought a case that was several months old and had to throw the whole lot away it tasted so bad. IME 3 months is about the max to sustain a good taste so I always try to buy as close to the date I am shopping on the case filled by date.

    The whole concept of computerisation and going digital is to eliminate paperwork but unfortunately your right, the Thai just can't understand it.

    I used Weathershield with good results before. As mentioned the surface prep is very important.

    No need to worry about stops there are plenty of places along the highway1 and highway2 to rest and eat refuel. Just stop when you need to.

    There are many rocket festivals every year and the dates change constantly from 1 year to the next. Some festivals are Amphur driven and some are local Tambon affairs so it's difficult to be able to pin down anything unless you have boots on the ground. The Yasothon one is by far the most prestigious as it's what the province is most famous for.

    Another failed visa policy from the Thai government, how else are these people living here. Only through dodgy money but they still let them in.

    They just can't accept the will of the people or accept that they got trounced at the polls so any jumped up allegations are the only way they can get at them. A very sad indictment of the low level of democracy these people have. Instead of running the country and looking forward in the national interest they can only look back and seek revenge for their own incompetence, abit like Trump.

    Having just spent last Sunday night in BR I can safely say that the place is way behind Khorat and even further away from Udon in terms of nightlife or even afternoon life. Pre covid it was a buzzy little place but sadly no longer. Sad to see it's fallen so far from what it once was as I had many happy days there pre covid. I won't be returning anytime soon.

    I just transfer the money from my Bangkok bank account to my Kasikorn bank account and you can pay them from there.

    Quite agree the BS about it only being accepted in your locale is just that. I've used mine from Chiang Mai all the way to Phuket and in the places in between without the blink of a eye from any place I have presented it.
