Laundrygate: Defence Ministry of Thailand digs into laundry scandal
Andycoops replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Another neanderthal practice that will continue unabated as they are a law unto themselves. As for the BiB bit at the end, their image is already in tatters and can't be repaired, trying to stop people speaking out, as a whistle blower, only proves their corrupt practices are flourishing as usual. -
Songkran Celebration: Health Ministry Sets Alcohol Sales Guidelines
Andycoops replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Completely meaningless mumbo jumbo which will be totally ignored, as usual, by the vast majority of the population. The word guidelines sums up the incompetence. -
The Phanom Phrai you mention is about 30 minutes drive from my village in Roi Et. I am nearer to Suwannaphum. Let me know when you are around to arrange a meet up, if you are still interested. Cheers

Thai cop’s ‘exhausting’ excuse fails to sway assault claims (video)
Andycoops replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
The usual childish behaviour from a ill educated Muppet in uniform. Yet again the guilty get off scot free while the taxpayer is left without any justice whatsoever. -
Shocked at Prices for Flights in December 2024
Andycoops replied to pj123's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
Direct flights are nearly always more expensive. Try via Qatar, Dubai etc Often only a 1 hour or so change of planes at the halfway point to BKK. -
Why is there so much trash on the grass verges in Hua Hin
Andycoops replied to ThaiPauly's topic in Hua Hin and Cha-Am
HH is no different to where I live in Isaan, if you travel the country it's a nationwide problem. -
Illegal migrant labour and sex work challenge Thailand’s tourism
Andycoops replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Hardly surprising you open the flood gates with such policies that are not thought through as is the norm with the Muppets in charge. They only see numbers... -
Swiss Man Who ‘Kicked’ Doctor Loses Visa, 2nd Swiss Man Too Could Do So
Andycoops replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Good. I doubt the arrogant piece of excrement will learn his lesson. I wonder if he will be kicking his fellow Swiss in frustration. -

Excellent news. Arrogant piece of excrement.

Grand Filano scooter hard starting after sitting.
Andycoops replied to paul1804's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand

Do you really think a billionaire would have any idea of what ordinary citizens have to put up with on a daily basis? Swanning around the country in his handmade suits in his motorcade completely clueless to their plight. The shock is he lost the election and is only PM because of the militarys unelected senate which is a affront to democracy and needs to be abolished asap.

Is it the case that many Thais do not change their registration because this also affects their vote in a election and they prefer to cast their vote in their home village/town? A bit off topic I know but in my village it trebles or more in size when elections held.

I haven't been in years and have absolutely no intention of ever going back. Far better places in Thailand than that.

Thai government seeks to mandate graphic warnings on alcohol products
Andycoops replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Doomed to fail as has been seen almost everywhere the only thing that that stops people drinking and smoking is by upping the cost not silly labels. And so what are they doing reducing the cost of alcohol by tax decreases. Talk about dysfunctional government. -
SRT agrees changes to design of Thai-Chinese high-speed train project
Andycoops replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I trust the locals who caused the extra expenses and delays are very satisfied with their campaign... -
There are many places called by that name. Suggest you state what province your in. I usually ignore ignorant farangs who think that everyone knows where they will be without asking if they know the area... And confirm times and location.

Thai police officers face bankruptcy with debt over 300 billion baht
Andycoops replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Like all government employees they get ridiculous multiples of their income usually from government owned banks because there is no due diligence. They all have decent homes, big cars, own businesses in some cases on a paltry salary. It's about time the chickens came home to roost. -

Andycoops replied to anchadian's topic in Thailand News
Surely it's all a misunderstanding that the poster boy is involved in anything illegal 🤣🤣🤣
