  1. I consider it prudent to keep copies of all my relevant passport pages that concern my annual extension as a backup. It payed dividends when 10 years ago I lost my passport. Got the police report and a new passport and provided the copies to IB and it was all restamped up without question.
  2. You can only get a visa extension at a immigration office unless you are using a agent. As far as I am aware VFS is not acting as a agent.
  3. Many things are cheaper in the sticks, that is a small Isaan village in my book. Places like Tops are only to be found in some larger cities. The main supermarkets are Lotus's, BigC and of course the 7s etc. I would imagine prices are fairly standard across the country. Yesterday I paid 65 baht for a large bottle of Leo, Chang is 60. In Pattaya recently I paid 55 baht in LK Metro for a small Leo, happy hour price before 9pm. A full bowl of pork noodle soup 40 baht. You can build a small 1 floor house with 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom for 1M baht maybe slightly more or less. You do need a car but parking is free.
  4. It's all mumbo jumbo, when they get into power the ears are tugged, the elbows clasped and the reality of how the corruption wheel spins is revealed. Hence change means, no change at all and the status quo rumbles on...
  5. He's probably already left the country with the rest of his millions in ill-gotten gains...
  6. No doubt all the other undesirable communist mafia are rubbing their hands at the ridiculously ill thought out free visa policy.
  7. Absolute joke but typical of the arrogant Muppets to think a committee or whatever will mitigate the effects of the natural world, just another allowance and expenses junket.
  8. Sadly a 12 year old girl died from Dengue 2 days ago, in my Isaan village, as far as I am aware there is no cure and no real vaccine available to combat Dengue, although I am aware work is ongoing but has been for years.
  9. Clearly this is all a misunderstanding which can be quickly cleared up with a wai or 3...
  10. Another uneducated Muppet spouting mumbo jumbo on things he is totally unqualified to speak about to gain some publicity.
  11. Seems like the new minister is turning into a Muppet just like the previous incumbent. As for the tourism ministry ensuring compliance with all laws this is clearly a joke as they have no jurisdiction whatsoever.
  12. Any physical altercation and you will end up in a world of pain because Thais always come first versus farang.
  13. Not all but alot have. If they had all gone we wouldn't have any services here at all.
  14. KK and UT are probably the richest 2 Isaan provinces, how about the rest like Yasothon for example. Even people in UT work in small factories only earning 300 baht a day, 6 days a week, that's where the focus should be.
  15. I was in Bangkok recently and a small beer in a beer bar on Soi 4 was 140 baht.
  16. The previous Muppet was merely stamping his feet before throwing his toys out of the pram as benefits a loser.
  17. I sincerely hope that he is made to cough up 10s of thousands of baht in compensation especially for the 4 year old boy as well as the other innocent victims of his actions.
  18. Another shameless Muppet who thinks he's a Hi So official when in fact he is the lowest of the low.
  19. Unfortunately the tip of the iceberg, with a recent report saying the average household debt in Thailand was 500k or there abouts it's a national scourge.
  20. Same old, same old cronies tying up access to the trough amongst themselves, as the people's choice is totally ignored.
  21. You have to earn trust by your actions not by telling people you can be trusted spouting mumbo jumbo.
  22. No doubt the amulet passed the usual breathalyser and drug tests with Wais all round for him to complete his journey, TiT
