    Report in the Thai press just in the last week said that russian tourists are down 80 per cent in Pattaya. I was there last week and it's busier at the weekend but otherwise many places have few or zero customers. Too many places chasing to few customers.

    I went in person to VFS before last Christmas and received my new passport back in just over 3 weeks. Delays at HMPO were due to strike action.
