  1. What is the validity of passport? Have you obtained a 30 day extension already?
  2. That's only if the agent is also obtaining the Non O Some folk enter with a Non O and have agent do extension.
  3. You pre arrange it. Including payment. You are greeted airside prior to passport control. The agent needs copies of pp pages to determine cost. Things such as refused entry, ED visa etc can trigger higher cost. Here is one mob https://www.facebook.com/people/Friendly-Thai-Visa-Services/61552069237778/
  4. How are your posts remotely connected to expats living in Thailand. Topic of thread. Enjoy you "few months" as a tourist.
  5. In other words zero to do with the thread that concerns annual extensions not folk on tourist visas.
  6. OP, quite frankly you do not have enough money in reserve. Stay in Thailand as Long as possible and eventually move back to UK
  7. Not wanting to sidetrack your thread... Just an added tad unrelated note. My Thai partner owns few properties. One has farang teacher. Guess he has a non b (not married) . Anyway the list added to the TM30 is ridiculous. Don't have list in front of me. Obviously copy blue book. Her Thai ID etc. In addition copy title (chanote) Wait for it... Copy of contract of purchase etc etc. I said... "That's it, we no rent to farang in future"
  8. Don't see the funny side. Indeed many aging expats living in Thailand have significant mobility/health issues. A trip to somewhere such as CW can be a major undertaking and currently Thai immigration does not have considerations in place for this. In addition the thread is not about the use or otherwise of agents for extensions. Further posts re agents will be removed as off topic.
  9. Your first point is still incorrect. This thread explains it. In particular post by @Tod Daniels https://aseannow.com/topic/1334345-90-day-report-must-be-in-person-after-each-re-entry/ As for the video. Yes it does work. Just had to hit play twice.
  10. When did you obtain your most recent Non O. Not directly answering your concerns however people should be aware that if they obtain Non O inside of Thailand eg at CW then the very first extension must be done at CW. For subsequent extensions you can change immigration offices (new province) and do a change of address. TM30. Afterwards obtain new extensions at that office. No reason you cannot renew your permission of stay at CW from what you have posted. BTW: You are not renewing "my retirement visa"
  11. Seems you are just kicking tyres. There is 3 or more Pinned threads on DTV. There are threads of first hand experiences of doing the bounce at/before the 180 days. Also reports of obtaining extension at immigration rather than exiting Thailand. As for your new pp in future that is a minor concern. Immigration will sort that. Decide what's best for you after research. Having stated that... You stated " (I'm not remote working and not interested in soft skills)" Sorta rules you out.
  12. Off topic post removed. Thread is not about legality of agents.
  13. Perhaps you could explain how you obtained your extension DIY using money in bank method after having used an agent to cover financial requirements.
  14. My first 7 years + in Thailand I was never here for more than 90 days. Wasn't till covid that I did first ever 90 report. It's not an issue and more common than some would think.
  15. My guess is that he thinks financials are checked at in person reporting.. They are not. Very strange thread.
  16. May sound like overkill, however I would also well in advance consider opening a new bank account. Fresh slate so to speak. Be aware that start over at jomtien from visa exempt entry may have issues.
  17. You were asked simple question re when did you go below the 800k My guess is in the 3 month period after extension granted? When you start over there is no 90 day extension. You would exit Thailand and either obtain new Non O in nearby country or simply border bounce and obtain new Non O in Thailand from visa exempt entry. ie " Start over" Or you could use an agent but note that would be ongoing
  18. After trip abroad and return to Thailand your first 90 report needs to be in person. Some reports of via mail being accepted. Depends on immigration office. BTW: the link to video is not working. You may want check that
