As for report in person, you clearly are not a long distance from immigration office or deal with a place such as CW. Or perhaps you never leave Thailand. Or perhaps live handy to immigration office. That's unreasonable. For extension marriage a 3 month bank statement should be more than sufficient or even just photocopies of bank book should be enough provided there was activity in each month.
