  1. You should obtain a 12 month bank statement as you mentioned "consolidated" transaction entries. Also immigration want to see an activity each month in bank book (immigration offices vary on this) Bangkok Bank take 5-7 business days to provide 12 month bank statement. Discussed in this thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1320006-bank-statement-requirements-for-one-year-retirement-visa-extension/
  2. You had good advice from @Upnotover . The point is opening a bank account with a tourist visa or visa exempt entry is not straight forward. Some folk use an agent. Obtaining an eVisa non O based on marriage in USA would make opening the bank account possible. 90 day reporting has nothing to do with your non O and subsequent 12 month extension. It's required if you stay longer than 90 continuous days in Thailand. Your first application for extension starts your 90 day count.
  3. No. Do you plan to obtain the non O marriage in Thailand? Do you have a Thai bank account in your name only?
  4. You are applying for 12 months extension based on marriage. You need to provide bank book pages that confirm that 400k has been in bank account in your name only for 2 months prior to day of application. Also front page that has account and your name. You will also require letter from bank confirming that account is current and you are the owner. Cost 100b
  5. It's not new as it doesn't exist. You will do your own count. I put in calendar. Google: entry date plus 89 days and your next report date will appear. Ignore any reminder email.
  6. OP request to close thread via PM. Thread closed.
  7. The OP mentioned plan to be located Jomitien. (initially) Another poster mentioned Maneerat. That agent uses Jomitien immigration and stamps issued there. You also need attend.
  8. Off topic post regarding legality of using agent removed.
  9. That is incorrect. You can change to using own funds by exiting Thailand and reenter visa exempt and "start over" new non O and subsequent 12 month extension
  10. Many good agents in Pattaya. The agents dealing with Jomitien will open a bank account with BBL.
  11. Most agents (not all) require you to use BBL account. Where do you plan to be located is part of the options
  12. You are not missing anything. Opportunity cost of the 800k vs annual cost of agent. As the saying goes "up to you" OP where are you located is another consideration. Also good point @zzzzz made concerning what happens to funds in bank upon demise. Also as folk get older and mobility perhaps an issue then adds to Pro side of agent. Predictable posts concerning legality of using an agent will be removed.
  13. You are changing what your extension is based on Good advice in first couple of posts in this thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1304886-non-b-to-non-o-retirement/
  14. You have correct answers posted already. Do you have a bank account? If so which bank. Where will you be located in Thailand?
  15. That is a given. You were given a 90 day permission of stay upon entry. You can then apply for 12 months extension 30 days prior to expiry You stated .... "Recieved my retiremennt visa no problem Septeember 26th" Actually seems you received a 12 month extension based on retirement
  16. The OP stated that he is located in Bangkok. Best option is to apply for extension that will be rejected and stamp (posted earlier in thread) will show 7 days limit to exit Thailand. No negative impact from that stamp unlike an overstay stamp. Anyone needing more that the 7 days "get out of dodge" stamp can do border bounce. Visa run companies do that from Bangkok
  17. OP, the 12 month extension requirements from a Non O-A and Non O are almost the same apart from the insurance requirement. You may wish to kill off the Non O-A. Here is a thread that outlines that process.... https://aseannow.com/topic/1304442-non-o-a-extension-or-better-options/
  18. A flame post along with replies has been removed
  19. You are being too kind. If the guy you quoted had remotely read the posts in this thread would be aware of this nonsense option. Suggest he use agent if all too difficult for him
  20. Attend immigration office and apply for extension. Simple.
  21. Thread has morphed into banking finance discussion. OP question answered in first few posts. Thread closed
  22. Ok enough. 3 posts of compliments. Don't use the online service if you find it an issue. You do realize that you still need to attend immigration. You mention 32 page application. Marriage? I find it simple process. Apply for extension at immigration yourself OR use agent to do the whole process.
