Yes. CW apply the current rules. You stay overnight in another province or exit Thailand and in both examples have continuous permission of stay then a TM30 is not required. What about home visit? A single entry non O from Savannakhet would give you a 90 day stamp and subsequently you could obtain a 12 month extension. You could delay current extension date by obtaining 60 day extension to visit wife

If refused visa at Savannakhet how do you plan to reenter Thailand. Think you have used 2 visa exempt via land. Last resort suggest flight to CNX try to enter visa exempt via airport. Basically time to leave Thailand. You mentioned that you are young. Spend time in Vietnam. You are also visa exempt entry there
