  1. Yep. Just added note. It does not need to be RETURN flight. Any onward fight would suffice.
  2. Geeze....there is a zillion posts of folk dealing with Jomtien for 30 day extension and being told nick off and come back in last 7 days. Your personal experience does not assist is any way. BTW ..Couple of current threads running about onward flight for visa exempt entry. Check it out and post your personal experience. So invaluable.
  3. From your earlier post in this thread ..... "I took my friend to Maneerat last week and they quoted him a ridiculous 6000 baht to do a 30 day extension. So I did it for him for 1900 immigration fee" So was it your extension or a friend's extension. Either way does not help the OP as he was unable to achieve the same. Also many posts in other threads re Jomtien refusing and stating "come in last 7 days" None the less keep banging on.
  4. Silly advice. Try reading the thread First up it's not visa on arrival.. It's about entering Thailand without a visa under visa exempt concession. The airline at departure MAY require an onward flight and often do. These threads are posted weekly and very silly advice from the ... "I have entered zillion times via air without a visa zero issues" brigade
  5. Jomtien is a rubbish immigration office making up random rules. Only a guess but perhaps trying to coerce folk to use agents.
  6. Thread has zero to do with annual extensions for extension based on retirement. The OP was asking about a simple 30 day extension. Something that Jomitien was making difficult. Ridiculous immigration office.
  7. Which province (immigration office) will you be dealing with
  8. Personally get very tired of posts such as yours. Many folk almost brag about "always works perfect for me" brigade. Fact is it doesn't work for many. Seems to be down to immigration office. Which immigration office do you use? CW currently taken 15 days from some reports. After several effortless online 90 reports to CW ...I have subsequently done the last two in person as despite doing them 14 days prior to due date they were still pending into "grace period" And yes I use the magnifying glass autofill (no typos).
  9. May have been this thread. However unrelated to this thread. The OP, friend will be given one year ban and fine of 20k. That's it. The USA guy in the thread attached must have had something else to answer to. https://aseannow.com/topic/1301036-overstaying-american-arrested-at-phuket-airport/
  10. At various airports you can arrange express service. I landed Saigon airport Wednesday afternoon and it was horrendous.
  11. The form you refer to is a TM47 and it's required along with couple photocopies at various immigration offices. CW being one. Dont like it leave or use an agent 500b
  12. Obviously your wife will be with you. Many have posted that they they used the Thai que. Think the Thai que is mostly electronic?
  13. I took exception because this topic comes up often. I would never suggest altered pdf as an option. It's called fraud. You are comparing apples and oranges. Anyway rent a ticket works and can be checked by airline.
  14. Nonsense. The onward ticket has been entered by airline staff based on reports. 100% no issue. Please provide one post of where it has been rejected. Scaremongering not needed for helpful advice.
  15. That's exactly correct. Prior to covid I never had need for 90 report due to frequent travel out of Thailand. I travelled with both old and new. I did the transfer same time as my annual extension.
  16. You cannot elect to apply for extension anywhere . If he stays in hotel in Jomtien district and they provide TM30 then that would be a possibility
  17. Your the typical poster that eg someone states they haven't received 90 report conformation and dill posters come along with ... "Did mine yesterday pretty simple confirmation 4 hours later" So please advise OP what he should do rather than bang on how easy it was for YOU. Irrelevant.
  18. And the OP did not have simple "pretty easy" experience.. From his OP, "I arrived with visa exemption, and went to Chonburi immigration to attempt a 30-day extension yesterday, with less than two weeks left on the original 30 days The clerk said, "Queue is full. Come back on Nov 3 or 7."..... Just address any advice to OP.
  19. No limit. Must be transfered prior (or on same visit) to immigration for anything such as extension or reentry permit. I realize PE visa holders have different procedures but in simple terms transfer prior to dealing with immigration.
  20. Forget the TM6. For a 30 day extension you will need TM30 at most offices. Your office is being an A.H. One solution would be to use agent. Maneerat Soi 13/2 one option. Other would be to check into hotel in a "normal" immigration office such as Bangkok and ask hotel to provide you screenshot of TM30.
