  1. Apart for the insurance for 2 years is an ok option. And the plan after two years. Continue with ongoing extensions requiring insurance every year?
  2. https://aseannow.com/topic/1349030-guidance-please-on-non-o-application-from-uk/
  3. From my post... "you can you WISE no problem. Good option".., My post was clearly referring to WISE.
  4. Not credible. Thread closed.
  5. Correct. Apart from that nothing on their net advice. That aside almost ready to close this thread. Does not seem credible
  6. That's correct. Applicable to applications for eg METV where you need to be in passport country or country where you have permanent resident status.
  7. First up agree with your summary of Bangkok. The airports and easy access a big bonus for frequent travellers
  8. Abusive posts removed. @Harrisfan tone it down
  9. Your post makes almost zero sense. The guy you quoted was stating that if flying from places in his example Saigon, that the airline almost certainly will ask for proof of onward flight. This is done by the airline at departure. Not immigration. BTW it's not the return flight that's of concern to the airline it's the fine.
  10. Current thread running https://aseannow.com/topic/1361202-ltr-visa-ive-got-questions-please-help/ Also many others
  11. I have not heard this. Very surprised if factual. "They were given 2 month extensions in order to deposit and season the funds" What was the two month extension based on?
  12. Are you asking about Non O-X Or LTR Also what do you mean via an agent. You need to meet the financial requirements If it's LTR then easy research available. Try Google "Agent for LTR Thailand" You will see many companies. Here is just one by way of example. https://www.w-lawthai.com/services/ltr-visa/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=18268867191&gclid=CjwKCAjwl_XBBhAUEiwAWK2hzmfUU2QS1zuD7xEAae7jJQ-BG_h6IiJ_HBAWvcpHzodmr41IxpafCBoCSacQAvD_BwE
  13. Check out this very recent experience of non O eVisa Vientiane. Edit: you could contact @Wongkitlo for specific advice.
  14. When did you marry? Think I recall another of your threads. Personally I would obtain the Non O e-Visa in Vientiane given wife's work travel requirements.
  15. From AI.... "The VDLR (syphilis) test is a required part of the health check-up for a work permit in Thailand, and the results are valid for 30 days from the date of the check-up. If this 30-day period has passed, the applicant must obtain a new medical certificate with a valid VDLR result." Same for medical for TDL
  16. Read the thread. As has been pointed out... there are NO stated rules. Please post the ones you are aware of. In addition even folk with a "Visa" can and are refused at various times.
  17. Offensive posts and a reply removed. @ChaiyaTH
  18. Safe entry agents refers to agent assisted entry at airports. Good option for visa exempt entries.
  19. Trolling post removed @richard_smith237 stop
  20. This post is of little assistance however the one important thing is that wife entered on a Non O so yes what you outlined is certainly possible. Also the fact that you are on a Non B (extension) she can piggyback on your extension. Pity CM were not bit more helpful but that's predictable. Hopefully someone with first hand experience can post.
  21. Why didn't you just obtain the COR that one bank asked for.
  22. It's hit and miss. The check doc chicks sometimes ask for it however sure enough when you bring it they don't want it. For others.... If it's easy to obtain a TM30 just prior to attending CW, I suggest that's a idea.
  23. The dates you outline are fine. BTW: Your doing very sensible thing.
  24. Correct. Slightly off topic however if anyone has similar concerns to the OP then using "income method" overcomes the issue of funds being locked up after passing. I'm switching to income method for that reason. The transfer goes into my bank each month and straight away transferred into my Thai partners account. As a result I can have almost zero balance and still satisfy immigration financial requirements.
