I do however curious how incorrect your posts can be. Address the points I posted above as your information is incorrect.

The thread is concerning extension based on marriage. Using money I bank method the financials are very clear. From your post seems you are referring to extension based on retirement. Again the requirements are very clear. Finally for extensions based on retirement the funds are not required to be shown from overseas. Strange Even if your extension is based on marriage the 400k is only required to be in bank for 2 months prior to application Then can be withdrawn.

So extensions marriage same address and immigration have required three TM30. Which immigration office would that be as I have never read a similar post. It's best to post genuine information to assist others.

Thinking that's on the money. Some things can be done in Thailand with an agent eg retirement extensions without the financials . And something's cannot. Thinking obtaining conversion to non O-X will be a NO

Please report back re converting to non O-X being a yes or no. I recall years ago to and fro with ubonjoe and some random poster that to be fair was very confident of a YES to obtain non O-X inside Thailand. Seemed to have facts to back up claim. Perhaps that (as usual) was office specific and perhaps a "fee". I've not been here in Thailand long time compared to many others. Never met one person on a non O-X. I find your posts very confusing. So to be clear. "Visa application" means that you are referring to application for a non O visa as distinct from extension from non O based on marriage. If you want correct replies. Explain exactly what you applied for. A non O based on marriage visa or extension. My guess is extension (and you misused term Visa) . So what actually occured and how many home visits have you had for this non O application or extension. My guess is ONE

To obtain non O retirement the money must be in bank on day of application. That gives you a 90 day stamp. In the last 30 days of that stamp with funds (800k) having been in bank for 2 months you apply for 12 months extension. To apply for non O at UT you would require 15+ days on your current stamp. If more time is required you can obtain 30 day extension.

Those requirements are ridiculous. How many tourists having entered visa exempt and wanting a 30 day extension would be able to supply rental agreement. Nonthaburi is a rubbish office. One alternative is to check into a hotel in Bangkok making sure at time of check in they will in fact do a TM30 and provide a screenshot of that report. You can apply for non O in Bangkok however would need do change of address. TM30. Also you may require a home visit (even for retirement) and be given under consideration period. Also in order to obtain subsequent 12 month extension....that would need to be done in Bangkok Which immigration office are you dealing with

You are obtaining an extension. Some immigration offices require you to show funds in bank when you return for final stamp. Having said that I have NEVER read one report of final stamp not issued due to not maintaining the funds. A reprimand yes. As for transfer of funds. I did a large..ish transfer last week using WISE. Started transfer at 11am. Funds landed in my Thai bank at 1.30pm Why didn't you transfer today.

Some offices want every page of old pp. Some just the Photo page last entry stamp any pages with visa stamp. If currently on extensions then the visa (eg non O) that those extensions are from. Obviously reentry permit age (if have one) Safest bet is photocopy every page and they can select what they want.
