  1. Your departure is in the system. Your return will not be an issue. Re 90 day reporting that seems to currently be issue online. If immigration office is convenient suggest to TM47 in person or via mail
  2. It's about time spent in the almost continuously back to back using visa exempt entry. Balanced between time out of Thailand. Current thread just one example... Spending 6 month in and months out using visa exempt entry. Should not be an issue
  3. If it wasn’t reported like it was you wouldn’t have known it was happening. What about Africa and India how come they didn’t bother with it ? Leave out the politics in forum for advice re visa, residence, work permit etc
  4. Do not understand your posts The OP wants to spend 6/6 split Thailand (continuous) and home country. Your non O-A detail is off topic. Non O-A nothing to do with this thread. Worst option for the OP.
  5. To be clear. Child lives with you and you were previously married to Thai mother.
  6. Surely that's a joke.. Almost weekly threads complaining about extensions based on marriage requirements. If the financial requirements is not an issue then based on retirement is a no brainer. OP..did not vaguely mention intention to work. The under consideration period along with home visit would be a no go for some. Include myself. From the OP .., "Thanks to all who have replied. Retirement seems the best option then."
  7. Seems that you may have a non O-A. That would require insurance and require ongoing new non O-A Perhaps you actually have have extensions based on retirement from a non O and but multi reentry permit. Your post is not clear. Did you read the OP. He does not want option you outlined. The OP wants 6 month in Thailand (continuous) and 6 out (home country)
  8. You are mixing up a non O based on retirement which is a single entry visa that provides 90 day stamp. In last 30 days you obtain 12 month extension at local immigration office. You are typing about a non O-A. Multi entry visa valid for 12 months. Requires medical etc etc. Rule out that option.
  9. Non O along with ongoing extensions based on marriage and retirement do NOT require insurance. Extensions retirement are extremely simple. Very little paperwork. The major negative is financial requirements that basically locks up 800k baht. Extensions marriage require lot more paperwork along with possible home visit, witnesses (some offices) , under consideration period, photos etc etc. Plus side is minimal financials. 400k in bank for only 2 months prior to application then can be used after final stamp in pp
  10. There are other requirements. This thread contains information and links to other threads and info links. https://aseannow.com/topic/1327020-extension-of-stay-based-on-having-a-thai-child/
  11. at Thai Embassy Vientiane .. It's the last 2 questions you did not address that's important.
  12. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?p=14714
  13. No. Immigration at airport is not the issue. As pointed out in the thread, the onward flight would/may be required by airline at departure. Check in will not accept what you suggest. When OP wife deals with Thai immigration upon arriving they will not request onward flight.
  14. The request for onward flight would occur at departure when issuing boarding pass
  15. Ok. All she needs is onward ticket for airline at departure. Upon arrival at DMK almost certainly nothing. She would be advised to have cash (won't be necessary but good idea) She won't need proof of accommodation however if asked travel plans then just the truth. She is visiting husband staying there.
  16. You don't get any refund from AirAsia and also that airline almost certainly require onward flight
  17. You mention "enter with tourist visa" Is she obtaining a tourist visa of flying visa exempt.
  18. OK, however the guy that you quoted is correct. To piggyback on your extension retirement (as dependent spouse) she would need to enter with a non O.
  19. First up she does not require a return flight. Can be any onward flight. Either.....pick cheapest throw away ticket. OR rent a ticket from company such as "onwardticket.com" A simple google of that site will explain how it works. It's the airline at departure that may wish to see onward flight. Which airline? Don't know what you mean by "she will not as she's on my retirement visa"... If she enters visa exempt she cannot "piggyback" on your retirement extension.
  20. There are two different "certificates" A Certificate of Residence (COR) is needed for things such as a TDL, open bank account etc. There is a TM18 form which is used by folk that have Permanent Residency " status. Thinking the appointment pic you posted is for the latter Attached thread mentions the two.. https://aseannow.com/topic/1308730-certificate-of-residence-documents/ As posted earlier in thread, if someone can wait till 90 report window is open the io will process the TM47 photocopy it on the spot and process your COR..... "Added tip for CW...if your 90 day report window is open you can make an appointment for report and the same desk will process for the report and also COR. Show both applications to far right que counter There are no appointments for COR"
  21. The person I was typing to was looking for 6 month stay. After flying in visa exempt 60 + 30 day extension he would require ONE border bounce+ extension to obtain 6 month stay. Hardly requires "strict records of dates" Open pp to look.
  22. Too many bickering reports to remove. Please contribute to thread or close.
  23. Forward planning comes to mind.
  24. Absolutely sure. Only caveat is that for first extension from an non O-A it would have to be based on retirement. After that subsequent extensions can be applied for based on marriage and no insurance requirement. Edit: re exiting Thailand to kill off non O-A and reenter to obtain non O was done extensively for guys not married to Thai when insurance came into play.. https://aseannow.com/topic/1290880-health-insurance-non-o-and-non-o-a/
