Not sure about this post. Back to your question. At LakSi there is photocopy joint left side of immigration office. Hand over your passport and tell them you are obtaining 30 day extension. You need to have a TM30. Screenshot from hotel will do.

A 30 day extension to a visa exempt requires very little. You can do it yourself. Do you have a TM30 https://aseannow.com/topic/1328362-30-day-extension/ Regards agent ThaiVisaCentre is a Bangkok agent. Think they have pick up service for 30 day extension.

Re-entry by air on a METV
DrJack54 replied to Nedrapter's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
What is the validity of your visa? Not the current permit stamp -
OP, note that while your old passport is cancelled any relevant stamps etc remain Valid. You can exit and reenter Thailand with both passports. You could leave transfer till your 90 day report window is open and do the TM47 and transfer of stamps same visit. https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=939160&key=2e63bc0d8abee18369df31b777516cb4 Note to anyone that has extension based on retirement and attending CW for transfer of stamps there is list of required docs is on page 2 of link above. Added requirement not listed is need to provide photocopies of bankbook pages and update..

Three scenarios /options
DrJack54 replied to charleskerins's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Why not obtain a 12 month extension prior to exiting Thailand. Along with a reentry permit. After trip to USA you can reenter and be stamped in till expiry of next extension. If you do not bother with the extension renewal you will need to return visa exempt and obtain non O In other words start over. Agents in Pattaya can obtain the extension for ~13-15k avoid another non O -

Fine. Finally. The agent you previously used obtained a non O and subsequent 12 month extension. The current extension valid till 19 Sept. When do you plan to exit Thailand -

During this current extension did you maintain the financial requirements? That's a yes or no. If you have maintained the financials then best option is to obtain a 12 month extension prior to exit Thailand. -

Single Re-entry Permit Issue
DrJack54 replied to HAL030788's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
No problem. The dates of travel are irrelevant. The validity of the reentry permit as you mention is same as expiry of current permission of stay. -

Seems you used an agent. Best option is to use agent again and obtain a 12 month extension. Do this few weeks prior to expiry of current permission of stay. Also get him to obtain a reentry permit (recommend multi). Pointless to exit without obtaining new extension. -

Not exactly clear of your situation visa wise. Do you have a 12 month extension from a non O based on retirement OR do you have a multiple entry non O visa that is valid for one year. Assume the former. Did you maintain the financial requirements or was the extension obtained via agent? -
OP, yes exit and reenter prior to expiry of your non O ME visa and you will be stamped in for 90 days. Re certificate of residence....seems you are dealing with CW immigration as that office requires you to have done a TM47 (90 day report) in order to obtain a COR. Passport country? Most embassies issue an address confirmation which is accepted as alternative to COR. Also depends on which transport office you deal with for license.

Non Imm O Application 10/6/24
DrJack54 replied to carlyai's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It never has been only 800k in Thai bank account in your name only + TM There are other docs to provide. The non O retirement they stamp tomorrow will provide a 90 day stamp. This is a fresh non O retirement and can involve home inspection. Nothing new. You did not enter visa on arrival you entered visa exempt (no visa) Seems your immigration office has been extremely helpful and cut you lot of slack. You are confused with the procedure. Here are threads that explains the process https://aseannow.com/topic/1311886-visa-exempt-to-retirement-extension-process-and-cost/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1325266-change-from-visa-exempt-to-non-o/
