Rejected at Nong Kai border for unknown reason
DrJack54 replied to siwiek's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Been discussed many times. Such an experienced traveller should know better. https://aseannow.com/topic/1280942-suvarnabhumi-immigration-entry-processing-boarding-pass-required-from-your-arrival-flight-18122022/ That thread is BKK. Other airports (eg Saigon) even moreso -
Rejected at Nong Kai border for unknown reason

Ridiculous. As I stated in post above. The io overlooks the requirement as so many travelers are ignorant. As your post indicates. Don't understand the departure reference and pic. I'm referring to international arrivals as I did in several recent trips for arrival at destination and arrival return to Thailand -
Rejected at Nong Kai border for unknown reason

You should be asked every time. The immigration officers accept folk not presenting it as the requirement is so naively not known and MANY do not present it at passport control. -
That is exactly what I'm currently doing. (CW) Most recent extension (Nov) using money in bank. Started transfers at that time. Will run both methods until next extension. Any issue with income method I simply continue with money in bank method. Regarding your question re proof of source of income.., That's down to immigration office. Reports of bank statement showing 12 months of income each month as funds transferred from O/S is sufficient along with reports of immigration wanting to see proof such as pension etc. Of course this refers to the 3 countries without "embassy letter"

Yes. Referred to as "credit advice" Not sure why some transfers were not shown as FTT. Perhaps was done as internal transfer from another bank. In any event go to BB and they will advise course of action. Very long thread here and about 5th post explains what Bangkok Bank did for customer to satisfy immigration. (WISE transfer) https://aseannow.com/topic/1234763-wise-transfers-not-being-processed-as-international-specifically-bangkok-bank/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1221420-bank-transfers-bangkok-bank/

TM47 - 90 days - "first time"
DrJack54 replied to glegolo18's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
My first rejection reason was "no room #". That was out of the blue as I had never had Room number on previous online reports which were approved. The next 2 rejections I have no idea. When I questioned the io at CW, at the time did not understand her and did not push it. At that time there were reports of if don't receive approval after X days cancel report and do new one. Which I did after waiting 10 days. The io words when I went in person during grace period were "must wait 15 days" I'm over it. -

Weird. The TM30 has nothing to do with TM47 I'm bit tired of folk singing the praises of online reports. My last 3 have needed to be in person (CW) despite previous success online. The reports in person have not fixed the glitch. -

In my case I subsequently received approval from online. Later I received docs returned from my mail report. Had red memo on it. The gf translation was "report already filed" -

Not sure of OP immigration office. First up he should be able to do it online even with new pp. My suggestion similar to yours. 14 days prior to due date I would do mail report and also online. Doing both does not derail the system. If no positive success till grace period, I would attend immigration office in person. -
Don't understand point of your post Use of an agent has been suggested already. Everyone is aware of agent option and even cost. The OP has funds covered apart from slip up that was quickly fixed. Also to complicate things his wife piggybacks from his extension (retirement) I suggest the couple skedaddle of to immigration to clarify their options.
