    Here is useful link. You should make and appointment. For my most recent (few weeks ago) they wanted a TM47 receipt and I also provided bank statements. The previous year they were not happy with just my bankbook and photocopies of pages.. Also very detailed list by @TallGuyJohninBKK.

    I did no suggest back to back METV visa That provides 9 months stay and with couple of visa exempt entries and extensions no problem.

    As someone posted earlier .... You may require an onward flight within 30 days for the airline to issue boarding pass. One option is to use companies such as "onward ticket.com"

    Just have passport. Of course bring you bank book just in case. Some io want to see funds maintained during under consideration period. SCB do not have branch at CW. Most other banks do.

    You travel with both passports. No issue. There is no "time limit" to transfer reentry permit and visa information Visas are not transfered.

    He has a visa and visas are not transfered to a new pp. He will need to travel with both passports. Even in a cancelled pp any visa remains valid.

    When you arrive airport in Philippines check with your airline if onward flight is required for your return flight to Thailand.

    Myself and many others use money transfer companies. This is covered in "banking finance" forum. WISE is recommended. Opening a bank in Thailand is not as simple as one would imagine. Where will be based in Thailand

    As usual you completely misread my posts. I'm huge fan of Vietnam. First 7 years in Thailand I went to Saigon every month. Yesterday I applied for multi 3 month eVisa to Vietnam. Unrelated advice to others ..the eVisa application is soooo simple.

    Thanks for the info. I'm so out of touch re ED visa so cannot post useful info. I was under the impression that to obtain back to back the schools had to be certain category. Thinking @BritTim is pretty across ED visa. Just bumping your thread as no replies.. Good luck..

    The OP should not apply for METV if not in the UK at time of application. eVisa was poorly introduced. In the old days you could obtain a triple entry visa from nearby consulates. That was discontinued and METV introduced. The requirement was had to been obtained in passport country or country where you had permanent resident status. As usual ...many folk started looking for loop holes.
