Your hotel should file a TM30. When a tourist checks into a hotel they should make sure the hotel is doing that and can provide you with screenshot of that filing if they plan to obtain 30 day extension. It's just a single line with basic info.

That provides much more flexible options, especially you suggesting he can (within reason) stay over night at mothers. Even better if both children can stay at your place when it suits both parents. I'm sure that you are aware as a parent of Thai child you can obtain annual extensions based on being parent of Thai. Having child living with you is not a condition of that application

Seriously! They are meant to do what is best for the children. You are not splitting financial assets here. The concern is siblings. What I don't understand is why keeping children together and you being given as much visitation rights as possible including overnight stays etc. Holidays away etc was not the preferred option. If you can't or don't want to live in same area as the mothers home then that becomes difficult.

Don't leave it till that late You require minimum 15 days remaining on permission of stay. Some offices eg CM 21 days. Do you have a Thai bank account in your name only?

What does "few visa exempt entries" mean. The maximum visa exempt entries per calendar year via land is TWO.

I find that amazing. In the sense that the route you describe Saigon to Bangkok with those airlines would be 100% requiring onward flight.

You are typing about visa exempt via air. Current posts are about visa exempt via land. Border bounce. In any event all off topic as don't think OP has stated Russian nationality

Think you are missing my point. The company referred to is a visa agent. Have not seen any official link from immigration that states Russian nationals can do unlimited visa exempt border bounces. Perhaps a blind eye but I cannot find anything actually stated by immigration rules.

Your pp is actually the property of UK gov. It's basically illegal for you to do anything to your pp. BTW: most countries cut of scan strip . Also generally place stamp in pp confirming that any visas, reentry permits etc are still valid

Did the OP state that he has Russian pp. The quote you posted from visa company may refer to current situation for Russians. Certainly not the norm .

I recall that thread and that chap was trolling along the lines of "stand your ground" and insist upon entry to Thailand visa exempt. Eventually stated Russian pp holder. There are couple of countries with unlimited border entries. Malaysia being one. My understanding is Russia is not.
