  1. As I stated earlier. Your friend most likely is referring to a ME non O based on marriage. That visa is valid for 12 months and allows entries that are given a 90 day stamp. No mystery.
  2. You can post name of agent on AseanNow. My guess your referring to Maneerat soi post office. Yes good agent.
  3. The requirement for income method is 65k+ per month. Not aware of any immigration office that accepts an "average" amount of 65k . Some folk have been caught out if their transfers are at end of month and due to holidays or whatever the transfer has been delayed to next month. Immigration doesn't like excuses.
  4. Thinking I posted this exact formula to you in another thread. Which part do you find confusing.
  5. 2 visa exempt per calendar year is for land border entries. Visa exempt via air is unlimited but in reality not feasible
  6. Clearly you do not understand the requirements at CW for extension based on retirement or marriage. I am aware of the requirements and hence never have an issue at CW. Strange how there are very few posts about issues with extensions at CW. From my experience it's always down to the applicant
  7. And what about the other requirements. Not below 800k for three months after last extension and back to 800k for two months prior to this application. I'm guessing not.
  8. No. Be aware that visa exempt changes to 45 days from Oct 1. Border run very generous option imo.
  9. You will need to leave Thailand and reenter. Be aware that after October 1 you will receive 45 days visa exempt entry. Gives you time to apply for your non O retirement with 15 days remaining of the 45 permit. Subsequently obtain your 12 month extension 2 months later. How long do you have remaining on current permission of stay?
  10. You state less that 90 days. METV is not what you want. Any permission of stay can be protected by purchase of reentry permit. If you wish to enter Thailand with a visa you could obtain a single entry tourist visa. As for Laos trip you can obtain visa at border and reenter Thailand visa exempt and receive 45 days. Having stated all that even your first entry with a TV can be done visa exempt. No issue.
  11. Here is recent thread CW specific. Also contains some info re appointment option (good idea)
  12. Which immigration office and which method for financials. Assume money in bank method. Currently in Thailand. How did you enter. When is expiry of current permission of stay.
  13. I answered your question in your other thread. You can obtain a non O in consulate such as Vientiane or here in Thailand from a visa exempt or tourist visa entry. You state in your OP that you are in Thailand on a non O-A and later refer to currently on visa exempt. Confusing.
  14. From a tourist visa or visa exempt entry you can go to immigration in Thailand and with 800k in your Thai bank on day of application you can obtain a non O retirement. That visa gives a 90 day stamp. In the last 30 days apply for 12 month extension. Regarding use of agent. Depends what you require from agent. What is your location. Edit: just read back in thread. You are in Bangkok. You could discuss your options with ThaivisaCenter. In Sukhumvit you could chat with Bangkok Buddy (Tanya) If you are providing your own funds you can do it yourself. Not difficult.
  15. He could possibly mean a ME non O that allows stays of 90 days. That visa is valid for 12 months.
  16. You stated company paying. Wasted thread imo. You had options..
  17. When you transfer using WISE there are options for reason of transfer. You need select last option. Hopefully it appears in your Thai bank account as FTT. If not you can ask bank for details of transfer. Messy but works.
  18. And I don't understand why folk extrapolate to visits in other countries when OP stated pay respects ( 3 week visit)
  19. What consulate? . 60 day extension based on what. The only 60 day extension I am aware of is the previous covid extensions and 60 day extension to visit wife. Your post is confusing.
  20. You are incorrect in this thread and the other you posted same subject. Onward flights are booked short period prior to flight Perhaps 24 hours and are valid for various periods. 48 hours being popular as cheapest. If not comfortable then book throw away flight eg BKK to Saigon 1500baht. Up to you.
  21. Been shown to have no issue by many reports. Next question.
  22. That's not necessarily the case. Reports of providing immigration with (for example) outbound flight for genuine reason an earlier application can be accepted. OP I suggest you discuss options with HH immigration.
