  1. You were given a 30 day visa exempt stamp. If you plan to obtain an extension to that stamp you will need to file a TM30.
  2. In shock. Most of us wondered what was going on with Joe and now this SAD SAD news. Joe was the backbone of AseanNow. Universally liked, respected and a true gentleman. To say will be sadly missed is a ridiculous understatement. Irreplaceable in so many ways. I know Joe had a wife and believe daughter. Thoughts go out to his family and friends. R.I.P
  3. Some first hand experience in this CM thread. Letter from school recommended
  4. Which immigration office? If it's long trip and/or busy be aware that 90 day reports can also be done via mail.
  5. Was not clear from your OP unless I missed something. So all ok to fly to eg Vietnam with infant but cannot do border bounce. Seriously. Your child is not subject to overstay. He/she is exempt. From CM do a border bounce and leave child with trusted friend.
  6. That's dating back to 2019 when Bangkok airports played funny games You mention baby difficult to travel via land. If you are not located in CM then what are you typing about Where are you located?
  7. Where are you located? If Bangkok then return flight to Udon Thani and border bounce at Nong Khai would be easy. The road from UT To friendship bridge is straight and flat. It's under 2 hours. Why make easy difficult.
  8. All applications for extensions based on marriage will be sent to other province for approval. For extensions based on retirement that is not the case.
  9. There is a 265 page thread with advice. https://aseannow.com/topic/121353-story-of-my-thai-citizenship-application/
  10. Re-register won't work. Your next report online should be fine. Same thing happened to me at CW when immigration officer decided to help. I told her absolutely not. I will do it myself. 90 day reporting (apart from first one) has nothing to do with extensions. Despite the practice at some offices.
  11. Is that serious. Only accept cash. Referred to as "under the table"
  12. Could be an issue. Why does the visa exempt need to be via air. Also how long is "a few months"
  13. Many immigration offices will require a screenshot of your TM30. Where are you staying. Most hotels do them and can provide you with screenshot when requested
  14. Do it online very quick process. You can leave without doing it.
  15. Not addressing your question, but have you ever considered changing to a Non O based on retirement. Same financial requirements but no insurance requirement.
  16. https://aseannow.com/topic/1290975-latest-on-savannakhet-one-year-multi-entry-just-been-and-done/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1289964-savannakhet-multi-entry-non-o-visa-having-thai-wife-the-facts/. https://aseannow.com/topic/1281678-multiple-non-o-marriage-visa-in-savannakhet-december-2022-report/
  17. Show me ONE similar post that mirrors OP. NO overstay. NO criminal offense. The OP can enter visa exempt. If flagged at departure or upon arrival I would be amazed. Alternatively enter eg Saigon and apply for tv at consulate. Most likely a balls up at eVisa end. Recently a chap had eVisa refused UK Appealed and having already entered Thailand visa exempt had his appeal upheld and TV issued. Current thread.
  18. The article mentioned "new head guy" This is just the usual song and dance with Thai immigration. When Big Joke was removed even CW did a crackdown on TM30. That lasted about one month. All new kids on the block (immigration appointments) need to make a splash. Suggest all take deep breath on this.
  19. Why would you choose this course of action which would be very problematic. Either enter Thailand visa exempt or fly into nearby country. One example would be Saigon where it's not an eVisa but rather personal application. Why consult lawyer when you state that you have never overstayed.
  20. Of course it is. How is this related to OP? He asked specific question regarding home visit for extension based on marriage.
  21. That's all you needed to post. Which BTW is correct. Posted several times above. The preamble including that you are proud owner of LTR is irrelevant.
  22. Skip it. Silly idea. I have posted in many of your threads. This one is a No Go as you are suggesting entry from HK visa exempt with your history. If it was essential then you would fly to nearby country and attempt to enter via land borders. If your friends are so keen suggest to them to have mini holiday in Saigon and meet you there 3500baht return Ripper joint.
  23. Do not understand one part of that post. Not even why you quoted me. The OP has been given correct advice in the thread. There is absolutely no need to contact bank or immigration office. The requirements are crystal clear.
  24. It's just a thread about Thai citizenship badge. Anyone would know to enter Thailand with Thai pp if you had one and returning to live in Thailand.
