  1. And you are surprised it was rejected? Select an address where you live and deal with immigration for things such as your annual extension and 90 day reports. Your "secondary" address is irrelevant.
  2. I'm sorry but that's slightly ridiculous. It's of prime importance that one would obtain reentry permit in situation that you describe. As for the other part of your question immigration needs to do nothing when you depart without reentry permit. Your permission of stay is gone when you are stamped out (without reentry permit) and yes you could return visa exempt and start over ....obtaining new non O retirement and subsequent extension. Crazy thread really. Simply don't forget or alternatively obtain reentry permit at immigration.
  3. Exit without reentry permit your permission of stay is gone. Start over. Why would you forget to obtain permit at airport?
  4. Report prior to 90 days from Nov 23.
  5. To avoid trip to CW you could consider online report 15 days prior to due date and if not approved within couple of days use mail option. If you use a B4 envelope for return post CW include all the photocopies along with TM7 form for next report. If online is subsequently approved that is not an issue. They will still return post your mail report with notation that it was already approved.
  6. Reports from various offices accepting application couple week prior to the 30/45 by showing flight out of Thailand and explaining reasons. Personally I would throw out the sick relative card.
  7. The reviews are rubbish. Similar poor reviews can be found on various sites. One comes to mind of a chap presenting with very little for his application by way of the clear required documents. Then throws hissy fit.
  8. It's not just about bank book update. At CW some immigration officers want to see activity by way of deposit or withdrawal on day of application.
  9. Which immigration office as most are up to 30 days prior to expiry or some 45. Either way if you show you flight out of Thailand end of April for your trip they may allow you to apply for extension retirement earlier. Certainly has been possible in the past.
  10. Not necessarily. If for eg he has a ME Non O and is doing a border bounce then he would not need to do a new TM30. The OP never made clear his visa situation.
  11. That's why online they send you reminder 15 days prior to due date. As soon as that is received do the report. Frankly don't see the point of this thread. Do online 15 days early and if for some reason there is issue you still have couple of weeks to deal with it.
  12. I almost call this out as scaremongering. There are other review sites. The two people allowed in at a time controlled by door clerk is now standard. You choose to use the word "protective". Do you think the door guy made up this requirement. Makes perfect sense to me given appointments required. Get your paperwork in order and job done. I have since read many reviews and some are bunch of rubbish. One guy with complete inadequate paperwork and boxing with immigration on the basis of visa exempt to thailand so simple why visa difficult. Didn't even have flight into Thailand to provide. Just another looney tune.
  13. When is expiry of pp and when is expiry of current permission of stay..
  14. It wouldn't happen however if immigration ever tried to pull a stunt step away from counter and book rent a flight with company such as "onward flight.com" or alternatively buy cheapest throw away onward flight. First option approx $15 the second approx 1500baht.
  15. Flight out of Thailand for land border entry not required.
  16. They require appointment. Not optional. Also office very small and from their perspective makes sense to have people wait outside.
  17. OP, you are over thinking it. Be aware of what is required. Do research etc etc. Read the first two reviews and they seem the typical western ignorant folk. The type that give one star to guesthouse in Saigon because the staff didn't understand English. Next time they need bring mummy.
  18. It's a CW requirement which is what the thread is about. To further confuse things some immigration officers will want to see activity on the day (small deposit/withdrawal) and some will overlook it.
  19. No forward planning. Appointment required at Saigon and Vientiane to name just a couple. Also to note they often weeks + in advance booked out. No appointment at Savannakhet.
  20. 2.2 of the change to rules concerning TM30 . Think it was June 2020. Here is rule: 2.2 After the house holder, owner or possessor of the premise of hotel manager has reported as defined in Article 2.1, the same alien has left the premise and returned for another stay within the valid period, the house holder, owner or possessor of the premise of hotel manager do not need to make another report;
  21. OP, will you be free re-entering with a tourist exempt stamp or new visa if YES then you need to do a TM30. If you reenter on existing visa with a reentry permit or existing visa then NO.
  22. It resets with a single reentry permit and a multiple reentry permit.
  23. As the saying goes ...the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting change. Assume that you are using the new...ish online reporting link. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add Also you can submit report 15 days prior to due date. What reasons for rejection have you been given. Begs the question that online reporting for CW has worked with zero glitch for MANY. Are you using autofill after first couple of fields.
