  1. You need to do a TM30. I would suggest you wait till your 90 day report window opens and file your TM30 and 90 report same visit in person.
  2. Which immigration office? Useful info for those dealing with office that required police report. Pretty mean of them imo.
  3. Cannot answer re current situation. When I did mine at Oz embassy years back, I couldn't believe how quick it was. Perhaps someone that has obtained an Oz pp renewal recently can chip in. Just a guess....thinking 3 weeks max. Added note: I suggest anyone applying for Oz pp to obtain your photos are the print place just near the embassy. I obtained mine locally as per the guidelines and they were rejected instantly and I was directed to this particular print joint. Smells fishy.
  4. You have clear pathway as outlined by uj. FWIW...obtaining a non O retirement and extensions will be better than the non O-A path. Just keep in mind that to exit Thailand and reenter you would need to purchase a reentry permit. Can obtain at immigration or airport. 1000 b single and 3800 multiple.
  5. There are many past threads regarding this .... This attached thread below proves nothing apart from illustrating the source of the funds can be asked for. Bit irrelevant if it's a written law or not. I have noticed over recent years that some offices are becoming more difficult regarding this, especially for those without embassy income letter. BTW ..I would suggest that what the immigration office wants/requires, has everything to do with it.
  6. It's not clear cut. Some offices are bit anal about source of funds. They also love the word "PENSION". Think many guys indeed receive a pension. Others have savings and possibly rental income and general investments. When income letters became unavailable for some countries it has caused an issue for some folk. Being Oz (no income letter) and also not entitled to any pension (for me) to use income method could be problematic. Perhaps depending on how fussy the immigration office is.
  7. Some rules are ridiculous. Jomtien is one of the few offices that requires this return 90 days later nonsense. As per past reports .... sometimes the "form" is given out some times not.
  8. Valid point, yes it is simple. In some cases it can burn best part of a day. That would be the case for myself dealing with CW. 2100 baht to an agent I can understand some would choose that option.
  9. You would not be required to show that the funds came from o/s. Having been in your Thai bank account for some time.
  10. Actually there will be a TM30 made by you as owner. Also change of address is now done by TM30.
  11. Happy to be corrected on this but the airports I have dealt with do not have ATM in arrival lounge air side. There is one at Saigon airport but has never worked in the years I've traveled there. As a general rule I would suggest to never assume access to ATM airside anywhere.
  12. OP, enter Thailand visa exempt. Place 800k in your Thai bank to obtain your non O retirement. Then obtain extension using money in bank method. All very simple but requires you to have the funds. If that's impossible use an agent.
  13. OP, not even sure why your asking. Obtain pp now. BTW in there is added cost to obtain passport renewal when your outside of own country. For example here is snippet for Oz embassy additional fees. aud. ADDITIONAL FEES FEE Priority processing (if eligible) $225 Overseas surcharge - adult applicant $138
  14. For departure tm6 is sort of irrelevant. The staff often have them in hand and check for folk that have misplaced theirs. However for those that have dealings with immigration for such things as extensions etc then the tm6 is always required. You can obtain one at immigration. Strictly speaking you could be asked to provide police report for lost card. Don't recall ever seeing that enforced.
  15. So required to return in 3 months time for check of funds in bank account?
  16. I agree with you and Red Army. The 25th has crept up. Land borders still closed. Thinking one more should see it out.
  17. Be aware that without visa, yes you are stamped into Thailand for period of 30 days. (visa exempt entry). However at departure for your trip to Thailand the airline may/will ask to see onward flight (does not need to be return) dated within 30 days of departure.
  18. Yes that's what it means but be aware that this is not required at every immigration office. Some would only want pages containing visa stamps (if any), extension stamps, reentry permits, identity page etc. Rather than waste time inquiring with your imm office just photocopy all your pages. All bases covered.
  19. From when you last entered Thailand have you obtained a 60 day extension to visit wife? Also when you last entered it was with a ME non O ?
  20. The onward flight may/will be required by airline at departure. Upon arrival the imm officer at passport control will not be interested in onward flight. Regarding your OP. The use of agent and even mention of PE (elite visa) all depends on how long you wish to stay in Thailand..
  21. I'm sorry if you have already mentioned this. Have you since last entry to Thailand obtained a 60 day extension to visit wife?. If not you could use that to season the funds. When does your current permission of stay end?
